An 18th century Channel Islands longcase clock by Nicolas Blondel the brass arched dial signed on a silvered roundel to the arch, 'Nicolas Blondell a Guernesey', with silvered chapter ring and subsidiary seconds at noon, date aperture at six, matted brass centre, pheasant and cornucopia spandrels, the eight day movement with anchor escapement, in an oak case with flared pediment on turned pilasters, arched trunk door or pierced butterfly hinges, plain plinth base, reduced in height, 77in. (195.5cm.) high.

De Garis, Guernsey', the case with swan neck pediment centred by a gilt brass eagle finial over an arched glazed door flanked by turned pillars, the cross banded trunk with shaped arched door, on a plain base, 86in.
