A good Victorian amboyna, leopardwood and marquetry display cabinet late 19th century, the amboyna veneered top banded in leopardwood and fruitwood with a moulded ebonised border and outset corners, over a glazed door and glazed sides banded in similar style enclosing a mirrored interior with two later glass shelves, flanked by canted corners headed by marquetry inlaid architectural mouldings, on a moulded plinth base with outset corners on ebonised toupie feet, 30½ x 15½in. (77.5 x 39.5cm.), 41½in. (105cm.) high.
A George II banded walnut bureau with cross banded and herringbone banded inlay, the quarter veneered fall front enclosing a fitted interior with central cross banded cupboard door flanked by a pair of fluted column compartments and four pigeonholes and two long graduated drawers to either side, the base with four long graduated drawers with the original pierced brass handles and escutcheons, on bracket feet, 40½in. (103cm.) wide, 39½in. (100.5cm.) high, 19½in. (49.5cm.) deep.
A Japanese lacquer and Shibayama table cabinet Meiji period, of rectangular form, the wooden cabinet carved with figures and pagodas in landscapes, painted to simulate cinnabar lacquer, the door with an inset Shibayama panel, depicting a cockerel and hen beneath a peony, on a gilt ground, the interior with two small staggered drawers inset with similar floral Shibayama panels, on a plinth base, 7½ x 12¼in. (19 x 31cm.), 14¼in. (36cm.) high.
EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY BOW FRONTED DISPLAY CABINET, having moulded cornice over diamond inlaid freize, bow front centre door flanked by glazed panels revealing two shelves to the interior, inlaid panels below, standing on square tapering legs with spade feet. Lacks original feet. Eight day movement striking on one bell with arch painted face having seconds dial and date aperture. 86" High. Dial 18" x 12".

Lacks feet. Arch painted face with girl and chickens to the arch and various animals to the spandrels. 17.5" x 12" with date aperture. thirty hour movement striking on one bell.

Eight day two train movement striking on one bell. Overall 88" High.

18TH CENTURY OAK CASED THIRTY HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK, having flat hood above square aperture flanked by turned pillars, crossbanded waist door on panel base with later and moulded bracket support. Associated brass face marked James Kirkam, Hollywell. Thirty hour movement. Face 12" Square, 75" High overall.
MARY HICKLEY (PRE-REVOLUTIONARY RUSSIA), "Gold Glitter and Gloom, A Rush Across Russia, recollections of the Coronation of Czar Nicholas II and later travels in Russia", original typed manuscript dated 1903, together with a limited edition illustrated copy dated 1997 (No 8 of 100) and another bound copy. Sold with various artifacts featured in the book of Russian origins collected by the Author:- 1) Russian Brass or Bronze Bear vesta case with hinged cover and glass eyes. 60mm high. 2) Russian Orthodox silver cross. 67mm high. 3) Russian poker work box in the form of a two headed animal with inscription "Laura from The Princess, June 1906", chip carved boxwood. 86mm wide. 4) Small Russian carved boxwood triptych featuring the Virgin Mary holding infant Jesus, Saint Serga and Saint Nicholas, left panel glazed with relic hairs. 87mm high. 5) Russian cloisonne spoon, makers marks B.A assayer V.N, 84 zolotniks, purity mark, 1896-1908. 183mm. 6) Russian Neillo silver spoon, makers marks B.C assayer N.A, 1858, 84 zolotniks purity mark Moscow George Dragon mark. 185mm. 7) Russian lacquered and painted tea caddy, the cover painted with figures at a cottage door. 100mm wide. 8) Russian lacquered wooden letter knife with painted troika in the snow scene. 285mm. 9) 19th century Moscow porcelain bachelors tea pot by Alexy Popov, painted and relief decorated with trailing vines and underglaze blue mark to base. 170mm wide. (Restored). 10) Tiny boxwood stamp box with painted bird, probably Russian. 30mm wide. 11) Russian embroided cotton band with silk, satin velvet and gold thread. 60" Long approx. 12) Small painted envelope "Cossacks camping" addressed to Miss M. Hickley" Dinder House, Wells. 13) Three brass Orthodox crosses, a small brass bell and a Chinese silver cigarette case. 14) Turkish or South Russian copper kettle or wine pot. 60mm. 15) Pottery beaker bearing the arms of his Imperial Majesty Nicholas II, Emperor of all the Russians, 1896. 115mm high.
