A George III oak and mahogany longcase clock, 30.5cm arched painted dial inscribed George Kiddle, Sherborne, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, twin winding holes, 8-day movement striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment, rectangular door to waist, plinth base, 222cm high, c.1820George Kiddle was born at Sherborne, Dorset, was apprenticed 1823-1830, when he set up in business there, marrying Mary Tuffin the following year. In 1855 he moved to Chelmsford, Essex, and died at Shoreditch 3/5/1871.

A McIntosh teak sideboard circa 1960s, length 213.5cm, depth 46cm & height 81cm.Condition: Minor scuffs to edges as pictured, left side drop down has been dropped without hinge connected resulting in cracks/stress to both sides of door as per pictures, otherwise overall very good, good colour and patination.
