Mahogany bookcase having recessed brass handles, 121cm wide Re: Enquiry - Toys, Dolls, Models, Antiques & Interiors (4th and 5th December)Thanks for your enquiry, there is some wear to both the sides of the bookcase. The top left door has some of the overlap missing as does the bottom left door. The top doors are stiff and don't close all the way. The lock on the bottom left door is broken as is the the bottom lock on the bottom right door. The glass in the bottom right door is cracked. Attached are some further images of the bookcase.
Rare late 19th century German walnut cased symphonium music hall clock, the impressive architectural case with turned finials, split column and applied fret ornament, the upper part with enclosed twin train clock with silver chapter ring, enclosed by glazed door, the trunk below enclosing symphonium machine, stamped - 'Schutz Marke, Made in Germany', numbered 281181, with side lever isolating music box from clock, crank handle winder, together with approximately twenty-six discs, total height approximately 230cm CONDITION REPORT in working condition although mechanism may need attention. Currently clock is not connected to symphonium. Piece of moulding missing to base of right pillar flanking clock face. Tarnishing to silvered dial, some wear to bracket feet, overall case condition is very good. Some discs are warped, buckled and may not be playable

In 1836, he was awarded a premium by the R.D.S. for Plans and Estimates for Farmhouses and Buildings. In 1837 he published a book "Model Farmhouses and Cottages for Ireland". In 1844, he is named as Architect to the Royal College of Surgeons. In 1853, he was appointed architect in ordinary to the Lord Lieutenant. He specialised in Churches, Institutional Buildings and fine Country Houses, and his work is evident throughout Ireland.

A Victorian rosewood and holly wall mounted display cabinet, mid 19th century, the crest finely carved in rosewood with mistletoe, oak leaves and acorns, above a rectangular single glazed door with finely carved and applied holly, acorn and oak leaf ornament headed by interlaced 'C' s cartouche, enclosing fitted shelves, on a plinth base, W.4ft 6in.

No signs of woodworm but the clock has been restored at some point in the past. Plinth has possibly lost some of its height, old veneer repairs and bowed side panels to the base (see photos)

Potter, Bishopsgate, St. Without, London, with a single train fusee movement CONDITION REPORT Has been cleaned and restored. Side door is loose and original pins are missing. Dial has been re-painted.

Losses to paint on dial, movement appears to be clean but there is no pendulum. Bezel and glass are also in ok condition.

18th Century walnut kneehole desk, the moulded top above crossbanded drawers surrounding a centre door raised on low bun feet (with later alterations) CONDITION REPORT 33ins wide x 19.5ins deep x 31.5ins high.Top has been replaced some time ago and also the legs have been replaced with cabriole legs. Does need a good amount of restoration. Losses to mouldings on top and multiple small veneer repairs needed.
