Georgian Mahogany Bureau of typical form, fall front revealing an interior of small drawers, pigeonholes, and central door, the body with four long drawers, Brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, 36" wide Condition: Fall front with crack and repaired areas. Handles probably replaced. Post 1800. Feels solid, no apparent woodworm. Movement is clean and appears to be in working order. Dial has some damage around winding holes. Case is very good. Some scuffing to base where door opens. Securing hooks and eyes have been relocated. Veneer is lifting in places. Brass weights tarnished and brass mounts on pendulum may have been repaired
