Old positions of short drawer handles evident from dowels. Chips, dents, scratches and stains consistent with age and use. As found.

A George III mahogany linen press, converted to a wardrobe, the shaped cornice above two flame-figured, razor-blade panelled doors, enclosing hanging space, the lower section with two short and two long, graduated, cock-beaded drawers, on bracket feet, lacking slides, some damage and restorations, 132cm wide x 64cm deep x 191cm high Condition report: Doors with hairline cracks, including left door with 32cm vertical crack in the middle. Restorations, including lower right of left door with 11cm x 3cm patch. Lacking original catches, including lower one on left door (latterly filled) and both on right door (latterly filled). Central brass dividing bead later. Doors later braced on the inside.Overall good colour and figuring. Mahogany carcase. Handles probably original.

An Edwardian inlaid mahogany triple compactum wardrobe with pair of cupboard doors enclosing a single shelf, above four graduated drawers flanked by mirrored doors, on a plinth base, height 215cm, width 206cm, depth 58cm. CONDITION REPORT There are scratches, a few minor losses, sun fading, nibbles commensurate with age. The sprung loaded handles to the mirrored doors don't latch, the right hand door is very stiff and has scratched the base. Does need some attention, but overall fairly clean.

A George III cross banded and inlaid mahogany bureau, the fall front enclosing a satinwood fitted interior with central door with inlaid marquetry panel, above four long graduated drawers on bracket feet, height 117cm, width 119cm, depth 60cm. CONDITION REPORT The top has a large water stain, scratches, ink stains, a split. The top is slightly warped, scratches and marks commensurate with age. There is a split to the fall front, the leather is split. There are some splits to the sides, scratches, nibbles to the front. There is one little drop ring handle missing from the pull-out slide. Overall, an attractive piece.Handles appear original and back boards are present

A modern Chinese black lacquer and Chinoiserie decorated display cabinet with a pair of glazed doors enclosing an illuminated arrangement of shelves above a pair of cupboard doors with padlocked locks, height 198cm, width 102cm, depth 34cm. CONDITION REPORT Light signs of wear and a split to the top right of the pediment. The joints are a little bit open on some corners, the door frame has some scrapes, where it has caught as the door has been opened. Some shelves are nibbled to edges, but not noticeable when looking at the cabinet.
