A 1959 Austin A35 four door saloon, registration number 227 UYX, Court grey. Replacing the very successful A30 from 1956, the baby Austin would go on to be produced until 1968 with over 280,000 rolling off the production line in various forms. This four door saloon finished in rare Court grey, has an original blue interior, which the vendor described as being in good condition. This baby Austin will make a great starter classic. A 1967 Ford Cortina MkII DeLuxe two door saloon registration number LYC 508E, dark green. The reps favourite first saw the light of day in 1962 and would remain in production until 1982 in various styles and forms from the Mark I to the Mark V. It also found great success in saloon touring car racing and rallying in at the hands of some of the most illustrious racers including Graham Hill, Jim Clark and Sir John Whitmore. This low rail two door pre-crossflow Cortina comes from the second year of production. It is believed to have covered only 55,000 miles from new with its three registered keepers. Finished in dark green with a contrasting light green interior, the Cortina will be offered for sale with its original supplying dealer keyring, owners handbook, receipts and its most recent MOT which it passed without any advisories. A 1987 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, registration number D290 WTN, white. In the mid 1980s Ford resumed their affiliation with Cosworth to create one of the most collectable and desired hot Fords of all time. Based on the XR4i three door body shell, they were constructed at the Genk plant in Belgium, power was supplied by a 1993cc Pinto four cylinder block with forged steel crankshaft and con rods, topped via a Cosworth developed 16 valve twin cam cylinder head fed by a Garrett AiResearch turbo charger, developing 204 bhp and performance figures of 0-60 in 6 seconds and top speed of 145 mph. It goes without saying that all standard underpinnings and running gear were comprehensively uprated to cope with all the extra performance. Registered in the last year of production, this Cosworth has been cherished by its owners and is presented in original condition. Finished in white with a standard grey interior, our vendor advises us that the Ford has not been involved in any accidents and still retains all of its original body panels, interior, engine and running gear. The Cosworth has always been garaged and is said to run just as Ford intended with exhilarating acceleration and handling. There is a comprehensive history file accompanying the Cosworth with numerous receipts, past MOTs, brochures and handbooks. The Sierra RS Cosworth has always been a coveted car. A good first quarter of the 19th century floor standing regulator. Signed Edward Smith**, Dublin*. Arched canopy over glazed door with box plinth base. All veneered in figured mahogany with reeded canted corners. Silvered circular dial with five minute indication, subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary hours dial with Roman numerals. 8 day single train movement with deadbeat escapement and six spoke wheels. Shaped plates united by six substantial pillars, pivots with fixed endcaps. Mercury jar pendulum and brass weights. Height 234 cm (7ft 8in). *See clocks and watches proviso. *Loomes, Brian, Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World, pg 718, Edward Smith Dublin, 1824. **Edward Smith worked as a clock manufacturer and brass founder located at 34 Jervis Street in Dublin. Active 1801-1858. In 1801 he was appointed clock manufacturer and timepiece to the GPO (General Post Office). (From the archives of the National Museum of Ireland). Condition report: Overall good condition. However the gut needs replacing, there are some scratches to the silvering of the dial, a crack to the bottom of the base plinth and one small piece of wood is missing from the back of the canopy.

Second quarter of the 18th century longcase clock by Thomas Gorsuch of Salop (Old English for Shrewsbury)*. Oak case (not associated with the movement) with engaged columns and brass key fitting on the door. The canopy has a carved architrave supported on columns and the arched door of the window frames an arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals and cast brass spandrels. There are two subsidiary dials; one for the seconds and one showing the moon phases alongside the days of the month. 8-day two-train movement striking on single bell.
