AUTOGRAPHS: BUDDY HOLLY (1936 - 1959) AND THE CRICKETS: A yellow autograph book page signed by Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Jerry Allison and Joe B Mauldin. Obtained by the vendor at a performance at the Southampton Gaumont on 3 March 1958 when she went to the stage door after the show and handed her autograph book in to be signed which was taken in and then brought back out along with other fans autograph books.
A George III mahogany long case clock, by Weare of Wincanton, the two-train movement striking on a bell, the painted domed dial with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and a lunar work aperture flanked by floral spandrels, the hood with a shaped pediment and turned columns, the case with line inlay, figured mahogany door flanked by reeded quarter pilasters on a figured plinth, raised on bracket feet, 49 by 24 by 220cm high.

An elegant Georgian Mahogany Bureau, having plain top over one piece boxwood and ebony strung fall, opening to reveal red inset leather, four pigeon holes over three short drawers to each side separated by central inlaid miniature cupboard door in Corinthian Column detail frame, opening to reveal a further three drawers, the central section pulls out to reveal two secret drawers to the rear, and over two short frieze drawers flanked by wound lopers, over flight of three long graduated drawers, all with Sycamore and Pine linings, cock beaded edges and brass swan neck handles, standing on bracket feet. 41" wide x 40 3/4" high x 21" deep
A circa 1920 Oak cased American Wall Clock, moulded top with applied carved motif, the door having upper square pane revealing the Arabic Numeral alloy face, eight day movement, the lower part of the door having three rectangular bevel plate panes revealing the pendulum. On lower moulding. 14" W x 31 1/2" H x 6 1/4" D.
A Georgian Oak Bureau having plain top, the fall with cleated ends and moulded edge opening to reveal eight pigeon holes, two long drawers and four short drawers with central small cupboard door, over the single frieze drawers flanked by manual lopers, over lower flight of three graduated drawers, all with Oak linings and thumbnail moulded fronts, with brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, standing on bracket feet. 43 3/4" wide x 42 1/2" high x 22 1/2" deep

Walnut and Ebony Pier Cabinet having moulded edge top over boxwood and Ebony inlaid frieze with ormolu trim, the single pane door with string inlaid and ormolu trim flanked by ormolu mounted fluted columns, two fixed velvet lined shelves, standing on bun feet. 36" wide x 43 3/4" high x 15 1/4" deep
An interesting circa 1850 Mahogany Cabinet, having moulded cornice over ebony floral inlaid frieze, over a pair of opposing 13 pane astragal doors, opening to reveal two adjustable shelves, over full width frieze drawer with fitted interior, three small compartments to each side and large space in the centre, standing on two tapering square legs to the front and two single pane door base, having brass hinges and handles throughout. 47 1/4" wide x 71 1/4" high x 20 1/8" deep
Gillows Regency period mahogany linenpress fitted with four linen slides and two drawers enclosed by two panelled doors above a further three drawers, fluted half column mounts, raised on carved claw feet, stamped on the drawer, W110cm, H209cm, D65cm Condition Report Losses to mouldings in several places. Signs of restoration. Scuffs and marks to polish in places but overall in good condition. Left hand side door has a slight split.
