An Edwardian oak Arts & Crafts style bookcase with leaded glass doors and Art Nouveau style copper hinges, width 101cm, depth 36cm & height 196cm. Condition - general wear to include scuffs and marks, refinished, crack to top right glass panel, chip to front right cornice corner and back right cornice corner, chip to moulding on bottom cupboard door, generall sturdy, appears free from any worm holes, bottom doors a little stiff but don't appear warped.

There is a door key currently seized in the key hole with the locking mechanism also seized, showing signs of corrosion.Possible finial broken off and missing from hood, there are what looks like remains of 2 dowels in top of hood between scrolls.Repair to left side scroll. Various areas of repairs and replacements of veneer around window on hood. Back panel on right side of hood missing.Dial rubbed and dirty, in need of restoration. Movement showing signs of corrosion/oxidisation throughout, in need of restoration. Wire/string for weights frayed and in need of replacing. Split to left side of case. Split to rear bottom of case. Veneer/piece missing from right front foot.
Victorian mahogany cylinder fronted bureau, having glazed two door bookcase back with single adjustable shelf, fitted interior with slide out writing surface above two blind panelled doors on a platform base. 50 x 122 x 158cm.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing complete, rather dry and unloved, scuffs, marks and wear commensurate with age, writing surfaces are showing wear, one moulding is loose to the upper section, but is with it, minor losses to lower edges of bookcase returns.
