A late 19th /early 20th century painted wooden humidor in the form of a strongroom/warehouse:, the domed top enclosing remains of fitted interior, the front with circular windows over a door with brass hinges and brass plaque inscribed 'Cigares'; , mounted on an ebony plinth with two vesta holders in the form of barrels to either side, 20 x 23 x 20cm.
A late 18th/early 19thC mahogany longcase clock, the silvered dial with moon face, engraved with Roman numerals etc., eight day four pillar movement, the reverse of the dial stamped Wright, the mahogany case with three brass finials, shaped crest and reeded pilasters, the door with moulded edge and base with similar mouldings, on bracket feet, 224cm H.
Three 17thC Swiss rectangular stained glass panels by Jacob Wegmann of Lucerne, each depicting scenes from the crucifixion, the deposition and resurection of Christ, signed and dated 1623, housed within a black painted iron frame (AF), later converted to a sliding door, the panels 48cm x 51cm, some restoration and losses, the door overall 208cm x 120cm.Provenance: By repute removed from Locksley Hall, North Lincolnshire and believed to to have been purchased from the Coombe Abbey collection, Warwickshire after the death of Lord Craven in the 1920s. A Liberty & Co of London oak wall hanging smokers cabinet, the plain top above a cupboard door decorated with lion rampant flanked by an open recess over a pipe rack with two copper pans inscribed to the frieze "The man who smokes thinks like a sage and acts like a Samaritan", bears enamelled tag to top "Liberty & Co London" CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood, areas of fading and discolouration, accretions, wear to the lower corner of the cupboard door, also around the lock as well. One of the panels at the back is slightly bowed. There is a split to the panel at the back where the wall bracket is. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
