A late 18th/early 19th century English oak longcase clock, having a gilt metal applied broken scrolled pediment over enamel Roman dial named Beal? Oundle, within gilt bird painted spandrels supporting a 30 hour bell striking movement, the three quarter length door within reeded stiles above a box base on bracket plinth. 197cm.
Three brass door porters, two cast iron doorstops in the form of rams and a white metal figure of horse on marble effect base CONDITION REPORTS Door porters - one hairy paw foot porter measures 37.5 cm, the other 39.5 cm and the triangular based porter measures 43 cm. One of the foot door porters is slightly bent, otherwise all three have wear, knocks, bumps and pock marks conducive with age and use. Both ram door stops - paint is flaking, areas of rusting (see photos), all conducive with age and use. White metal horse has areas of tarnish and some small areas of pitting and scratching conducive with age and use, front right leg appears to have been off at some stage and the casting is a little rougher (see photos), it is loose on the base, the base has several flaws running through it and several chips to the edges.
A mahogany cased longcase clock with Roman numerals to the enamelled dial, inscribed "Bulluck Bradford" CONDITION REPORTS We cannot guarantee is in working order or if clock movement parts are original, the clock appears to have had some restoration over the years. Size 207 cm high by 49 cm width, Case - the top pediment may have possibly been cut down at some point and has some knocks, the veneer in lifting in places on the hood with some small splits tot he veneer, hands slightly been and show signs of some repairs, wear to edges of the enamel dial and wear to to paint work, show signs of a spillage of some cleaning fluid resulting with a stain! veneer of body splitting in places with some knock and dumps throughout the case from general wear and age, has some white dots of paint throughout, some scratches. pendulum is slightly depend and a light grey cap has been added to one of the weights and is possibly a new section of veneer on the base door.
A 19th Century Continental painted side table with shaped top above a central drawer flanked by two further drawers on cabriole legs CONDITION REPORTS Approx. 145.5 cm wide x 72 cm deep x 77 cm tall. In need of re-painting, paint is very worn, top has various splits, loose sections, attention needed, legs are loose and need attention, door front with assorted splits and cracks, lock is rusted with damage to the keyhole surround, side swing drawers have assorted splits and lock fronts missing and locks rusted, general condition is poor and in need of restoration.
A 19th century Dutch walnut cabinet, the domed top with moulded cornice above a single glazed and barred door enclosing painted interior with three shelves (formerly upper section of a larger piece) CONDITION REPORTS Back boards are split and coming apart. There have been some repairs to the moulding on the top edge of the cabinet and patching. The door has a split in the curved frame on the left-hand side, joints are starting to come apart although structurally sound. The lock area has been patched on the frame. There are splits where the wood has been pinned together, nail heads and marks are visible. On the left-hand side there is a nail protruding through from the inside out. Has general wear, knocks, splits, etc. through out conducive with age and use (see photos for more detail). Brass hinges appear to be replacements, and the top right hand side glass pane has a crack in it.
A Victorian mahogany side cabinet, the white marble top above a plain frieze and glazed door flanked by two glazed panels and turned column supports on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS 124cm width by 38.5cm depth by 93cm tall. Marble top has knock to corners and some scratches, is yellowed in places and some grey marks to marble. Over has general knock and dumps throughout conductive to age and general wear, the front has some missing to lower left corner and lower right corner and some small splits throughout..
A near matching pair of 19th Century French walnut and marble top bedside cupboards with serpentine top over a frieze drawer with panelled cupboard door below, raised on cabriole legs to scroll feet CONDITION REPORTS With wear, scuffs and some knocks and chips. One top broken into several pieces. Some old woodworm holes throughout. Some warping and lifting to veneers, particularly noticeable to left side of one cabinet. Some losses to edges and mouldings. Some losses to veneers. Interior of one cupboard has a ceramic insert (not fitted) and a loose piece of broken white marble. A later replacement handle to one drawer. Please note that these cupboards are very similar, but do not match as they are slightly different from each other (they are a near matching pair). Heights approx 83.5cm and 84cm.
