A George III mahogany cased longcase clock, by Valentine Downs, Louth, circa 1780, the eight-day movement striking on a bell, twelve-inch brass break-arch dial with silvered chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals, five minute Arabic numerals and minute track, the matted dial centre with engraved decoration, inset subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, cast brass floral spandrels to the four corners and engraved steel hands, the arch having a silvered boss engraved 'Vale. Downs, Louth' and further c-floral spandrels, the hood with broken swan neck pediment centred by a brass orb finial, dentil moulding, reeded columns with brass capitals flaking the glazed door, the trunk with applied quarter columns with brass capitals flanking a full length trunk door with pointed arch and inset escutcheon, raised on shaped bracket feet, with winder, pendulum and two weights, 46.5 by 27 by 243cm high.
An early 19th century oak long case clock, engraved brass dial with applied spandrels, 30 hour movement chiming on a bell, hood with broken swan neck pediment and turned columns flanking the glazed door, crossbanded case, raised on small bracket feet, with one weight, pendulum and key, 46 by 22 by 212cm high.
A ladies Regency satinwood metamorphic kneehole vanity table in the manner of Mayhew & Ince. With stepped top hinging to reveal a fully fitted interior with a stow away mirror on push button release mechanism. With eight cut glass bottles and having compartments with crossbanded and strung inlaid covers. The table is further banded in kingwood, with concave knee section and raised on square tapering supports with reeded inlay, 1m 248cm, 82cm high.Condition report intended as a guide only.Some water damage to the top and slight fading. Two bottle stopper missing, the glass chipped. No key. Some slight loss to the banding. Two handles with back plates detached, one retained. Left cupboard door with one hinge detached.
