A 1974 Ford Escort 1100 two door saloon, registration number PON 801M, Sahara beige. With 64,000 miles from new, this very original two door Escort was supplied by Bristol Street Motors to its only one registered lady owner on 1st February 1974. The Escort would appear very solid and has been garaged stored on blocks since 2008. As a base model it could be recommissioned and restored to original specification or alternatively it would make a great basis for a Mexico or RS recreation. V5C, no MOT See illustration
A 1933 AC Ace close coupled fixed head coupé, registration number APK 140, chassis number L48, body number 118, blue over black. Barn stored for 56 years, this extremely original AC is believed to be one of only 12 such examples produced with this body style. It is also believed to be the only know survivor, according to the AC Owner's Club and until our vendor contacted them seeking information on the car it was thought to no longer exist. L48 would appear in remarkable time warp, unmolested, original condition, with original panels, paint, engine and gearbox. The interior is worthy of special mention as she still retains her original Art Deco interior with blue leather seats and door cards which have beautiful sunburst decoration. No attempt has been made to start or turn the engine, which after nearly six decades of inactivity will require careful inspection and restoration as necessary. It is hoped that with such an original car, the next custodian will preserve rather than restore such an important pre WWII AC and once finished she would be a worthy Preservation Class contender at some of the world's most prestigious classic car events. RF60, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Condition report Report by MW The 1933 AC Ace close coupled fixed head coupé The engine doesn't turn over and is currently seized, and will require restoration. The car would appear complete in all major components being there, but all the car requires restoration, there is a reserve on the vehicle in line with the estimate.
A 1936 Morris 8 Series I sliding sunroof four door saloon, registration number DPF 165, black over red. This charming Morris saloon was purchased by the vendor from a previous Charterhouse auction (03/11/13). At that time it was offered from the John Ellis collection in a restored condition. The car features a retrimmed red leather interior, full length sunroof, luggage rack and wire wheels. In the current ownership the Morris has been recommissioned and used to attend local classic car events. The Morris is offered for auction with an accompanying history file. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
A 1991 Ford Fiesta Popular Plus 1.1 litre, registration number H493 GLN, Burgundy red. This five door Fiesta has had one lady owner from new and has covered less than 33,000 miles. The Fiesta has a comprehensive service history, with the original bill of sale (£6,607.56), order from, all handbooks, credit agreement documents, receipts and MOTs. This super little car would make an excellent first car or starter classic and has a current MOT which it passed without any advisories and is ready to go. V5, V5C, MOT to June 2017 See illustration
A 2014 Jaguar F-Type R coupé, registration number WX64 YEG, green, insurance category D. Jaguar's F-Type R is the most powerful version of their new super car. The five litre supercharged V8 produces a mighty 542 bhp which endows the Jaguar with a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a governed top speed of 186 mph. The beautiful F-Type coupé has covered less than 1,300 miles from new. It was unfortunately the target of vandalism on a Jaguar dealer's forecourt which culminated in an insurance category D claim. The damage comprised of a broken passenger door window, some paintwork damage and the need of a new passenger seat. After a delay of approximately nine months, the F-Type was purchased by the Jaguar dealer and fully repaired at their workshops. **** it has not undergone a VOSA inspection**** It is now resplendent in a most handsome metallic green with a panoramic glass roof, 20 inch alloy wheels and full black leather interior with all the toys one could wish for. The Jaguar comes to auction with its dealer supplied handbook pack and offers tremendous value for such a high spec low mileage example at the guide price. V5C See illustrations
A 1954 Ford Zephyr Six Mk I convertible, registration number TDH 559, chassis number 98804, engine number 98804, ivory. The Zephyr Six, which has become retrospectively known as the Mk I, had a five year production run between 1951 and 1956. As well as the standard four door saloon factory model, two authorised conversions were available, the estate which was constructed by Abbotts of Farnham and the convertible made by Carbodies. This Carbodies convertible which we have the pleasure of offering for auction must be one of the most original and low mileage examples to come onto the market. She displays less than 30,000 miles on the odometer and still retains her original power hood, body panels and interior. The engine was fitted in period with an early Raymond Mays aluminium cylinder head with twin carburettors and the Zephyr has the very desirable three speed manual gearbox with Laycock-de-Normanville overdrive. From history supplied by the vendor it can be seen that the Zephyr was supplied by the Walsall Ford agent to the first owner a Colonel Lindop (Colonel Lindop's calling card on file) who retained the car for one year before passing it on to Hayward's of Wolverhampton who subsequently sold the Ford to Mr Crumpton of Wednesbury Staffs, who would retain the car until 1989. When purchased by Mr Ovens in 1989 the car had been off the road since 1971 (original tax disc on file) and had an odometer reading of 27,690 miles. Mr Ovens used the car very sparingly during his ownership adding less than 2,000 miles to the odometer attending local classic shows and the odd day out. Our vendor acquired the Ford to add to his collection in 2012 where upon it was serviced and MOT'd (no advisories). Since then it has again seen little use only adding a further 120 miles to the odometer. The Zephyr is offered for auction with an accompanying history file and is now only for sale due to the vendor scaling down his collection. RF60, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations
