A FRENCH WALNUT AND KINGWOOD VITRINE, the pierced heart shaped gilt metal surround above a rectangular top and frieze with applied gilt metal foliage roundel and stiff leaves, the glass panelled door enclosing a silk lined interior with glass shelves over a panel painted with a seated 18th century gentleman and his beloved in rural surroundings, signed F Oliver, on fluted legs with gilt metal feet, mid 20th century.

A Symbolist bronze figure representing an allegory, rich green patination, unsigned, on an orange and cream marble cylinder and block base, 41.5cm high overall. See Sothebys, London, 19th and 20th century Sculpture, 15th March 1991, lot 309 for a bronze door knocker 'Allegory of Sculpture' attributed to Harry Bates (1850-1899). See also the collection of the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, Bedford for another example of the door knocker: there fully attributed to Harry Bates ARA as it has been identified from a photograph by the artist's son and was possibly exhibited at the Fine Art Society in 1902. The central cupboard with a rose plush lined interior; fitted a shelf, enclosed by a panelled door with inlaid marquetry urn and flowers, flanked by pilasters and glazed display side cabinets, with plush lined shelves, concave ends, on a conforming plinth with gilt bronze mounts. 6ft. (1.83m) wide x 3ft. 7in. (1.09m) high.

A 19th century Franglais breakfront credenza, veneered in burr walnut, the inlaid stringing and restrained boxwood marquetry to the frieze and central cupboard door, having gilt bronze mouldings and mounts, flanked by glazed bowfronted display cabinets, the velvet lined interiors with shelves, with gilt mouldings and mounts to the plinth base. 5ft. 8.5in. (174cm) wide x 3ft. 6.5in. (108cm) high.
An early Victorian North Country longcase clock, veneered in mahogany with Brazilian rosewood banding, the eight day movement with an arch painted dial having moon phase aperture above subsidiary dials, makers name indistinct, probably Wolverhampton, painted figures to the corners for the four Seasons, the hood with swan neck pediment and turned pillars, the trunk with a triple arch top door, trade label inside for Bromwich Watch & Clock repairer, Coventry, turned side pilasters the banded canted corner base on a later plinth. 7ft.9in. (236cm) high.
