CONDITION REPORT: Dents, chips and scratches to the case, loss to edge of front right foot, a chip to enamel dial, rubbed makers name.

A late 19th century French gilt metal mantel clock with porcelain face set with circular chapter ring with Roman numerals above a figural scene, surmounted with a twin handled urn, with Japy Frères movement, number 3133.4.8, height 39.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Losses to the gilding and paint work to porcelain areas, losses to gilding to the metalwork throughout, door has previously been broken off, crudely repaired and is now detached, heavy bubbling to the door, many of the joints in the metal do not sit flush.

CONDITION REPORT: The clock has two weights, one pendulum and key, the head is badly damaged and the fretwork is missing as is the veneer, the dial have been cleaned and there are signs of tarnishing and the lot is in need of restoration.
