Front and right side glass panels loose^ chip to rear door glass panel lower right corner^ door loose^ dial loose^ tarnishing^ staining to dial^ scuffs^ rips and small depletions to case.
AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY AMERICAN INLAID OAK MANTEL CLOCK by the Ansonia Clock Company^ New York^ of balloon-form^ the circular white enamelled dial with Arabic hours to the chapter ring^ the string-inlaid case with circular sun-burst paterae^ on a moulded plinth base with turned brass feet^ the striking movement stamped with the maker`s name. 29.5cm(h) Two flake chips to bevelled glass^ two winding holes missing^ the protective collar with some slight enamel loss^ tarnishing to the gilt metal rear door^ one or two water marks to the case but generally in good order.
AN EDWARDIAN INLAID ROSEWOOD BRACKET CLOCK having an arched surmount and foliate scroll inlaid frieze^ the glazed door with conforming inlay^ on a moulded and inlaid inverted break-front plinth base^ the dial with two small subsidiary chime/silent & slow/fast dials^ the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours^ the striking movement unmarked. 50cm(h) x 38cm(w) Marks^ scratches and some wear otherwise ok.
A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK having a broken swan-neck pediment^ plain frieze^ square glazed hood door and fluted columns^ the shaped trunk door between fluted quarter columns^ on a plain banded base^ the painted dial with Roman hours and Arabic quadrants framing subsidiary seconds and date dials^ makers name Hodghon^ Preston and foliate decoration^ all within spandrels^ sold with weights and pendulum. The pediment`s brass disc terminals missing^ crack to glass door^ trunk and base separated^ marks^ stains^ scratches and fading^ feet missing^ some moulding depletions^ cracking^ staining and wear to dial.
AN 18TH CENTURY OAK THIRTY-HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK^ having a flat-topped hood with moulded cornice^ square glazed hood door^ shaped trunk door and plain base with bracket type feet^ the brass dial with Roman hours and Arabic seconds to the chapter ring^ bearing the maker`s name Powley^ Appleby^ enclosing a rolling crescent form date aperture^ all framed by applied ornate brass spandrels. 204.5cm(h) Replacement seat board and hinges to trunk door (with some damage) marks and scratches^ viewing advised.
A MID-19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK having a broken swan-neck pediment^ arched glazed hood door and turned columns^ the short shaped trunk door with central oval veneered panel within banding^ over a small conforming panel and base^ with turned columns to each side^ the arch of the dial painted with a rolling moon phase mechanism and hemispheres^ the chapter ring with Roman hours^ a subsidiary seconds dial^ crescent form date aperture^ winding holes and maker`s name Edward Telford^ Carlisle^ all enclosed by foliate spandrels^ the striking movement with weights and pendulum. 230cm(h) Pediment missing finial with depletion to finial housing^ fading marks and scratches^ some wear and discolouration to dial.
A 19TH CENTURY OAK AND MAHOGANY THIRTY-HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK having a broken swan-neck pediment with gilt metal rosette terminals^ arched glazed hood door and turned columns^ the shaped and crossbanded trunk door between canted corners^ raised on a plain base and bracket feet^ the arch of the dial painted with a Scottish hunter and deer^ the chapter ring with Roman hours framing the maker`s name W & J Matthews Penrith & Kendal^ and subsidiary seconds dial^ all framed by spandrels painted with deer. 216cm(h) Wear and cracking to dial^ veneer/crossbanding cracks and depletions^ deterioration to feet^ replacement finial to surmount^ viewing advised.
