Small chips to the rim of the teapot, some discolouration to the orange glaze. Crack to the inner base of teapot. No obvious signs of restoration.

A modern burr walnut veneered partners' desk in the Victorian manner, the tooled and gilded leather insert top within a moulded edge over three frieze drawers over three further frieze drawers, raised on two banks of three drawers and cupboard door, opposite three further drawers and cupboard door verso, on plinth bases, 151.5 cm wide x 106 cm deep x 76.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has had replacement handles and locks. The locks have all been varnished over. One of the knob handles has broken off but is present. There are various splits to the veneer including to the edges of the drawer surrounds on the top section. There is a split to the side panel of the pedestals. There is a clearly a split running from one short edge of the desk underneath the leather - you can see where the leather is cracking and appears to be another similar on the other side. One of the drawer liners is split. The whole piece looks as though it has been restored/repolished etc at some point as well as replacement leather. The inside of the cupboards have oak linings to the supports. General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details
