An early 18th Century oak Deuddarn, the flared cornice above three arched panelled doors, the centre door enclosing a fitted interior of small drawers with arched recess, three short drawers to the frieze with two pairs of panelled doors under enclosing shelves, raised on square legs, 55.5in. x 73.5in. high.
An Edwardian mahogany bureau decorated with satinwood crossbanding, boxwood and ebony stringing, the small rectangular fall-flap centred by an inlaid foliate motif opening to reveal tooled leather-covered writing surface and pigeon holes, a panelled door below enclosing shelves, raised on a cut-away plinth base, bearing presentation plaque, 21.5in. x 40in. high.
A George III mahogany longcase clock, the hood with swan neck pediment and brass finial, decorated with blind fret carved panels above the arched glazed panel door, flanked by fluted brass mounted pilasters, the movement (not contemporary with the case) fitted a silvered dial, subsidiary date and seconds dials, decorated with spandrels and a circular disc to the arch engraved A. Pringle, Edinburgh, fitted eight day striking movement with new seat board, the trunk below with an inlaid panel door flanked by fluted pilasters, raised on ogee bracket feet, 18in. x 87in. high.
A Georgian mahogany longcase clock, the hood with swan neck pediment and brass sphere finial above the glazed panel door enclosing the silvered chapter ring with roman numerals and seconds dial, inscribed Thos. Davis, North Shields, fitted eight day striking movement, the case decorated with inlaid flower and shell motifs with sharks tooth banding and stringing, raised on bracket feet, 19in. x 94in. high (possibly a marriage). A large walnut veneered on oak longcase clock, the arched hood above the brass dial, roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, decorated with ornate applied spandrels and a circular boss to the arch inscribed "George Willson, Swalwell", fitted eight day striking movement, a crossbanded panel door to the trunk, raised on a plinth base, 21.5in. x 94.5in. high.

A Georgian mahogany bureau bookcase, the later bookcase top with ornate carved scrolling and pierced swan neck pediment decorated with carved flowerhead motifs, centred by a gilt painted eagle above ornate astragal doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the rectangular fall-flap below opening to reveal a fitted interior of pigeon holes, serpentine drawers and a mirror panel door flanked by corinithian gilt mounted pilasters, three short and three long graduated drawers below fitted ornate moulded brass handles and escutcheons, raised on bracket feet, 42in. x 97in. high.
A late George III mahogany serpentine sideboard, the top fitted a brass rail on turned supports above crossbanding and inlaid stringing, fitted two bowfront drawers to the centre, flanked by two short concave drawers, a bottle drawer and a panelled door fitted embossed lion mask brass knob handles, raised on square tapering legs with spade feet, 83in. x 29.5in. x 37in. high.
A late George III mahogany bowfront secretaire bookcase, the near matching bookcase top fitted a pair of astragal doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the secretaire drawer under with dummy drawer front and opening to reveal a fitted interior of birdseye maple veneered drawers, pigeon holes and a central panel door, three long graduated drawers below decorated with inlaid boxwood stringing and raised on turned bun shaped feet, 48in. x 91in. high.
A late Victorian mahogany sideboard ornately decorated with carved acanthus leaf scrolls, fret carved panels and turned spindles, the near matching raised mirror back fitted with numerous bevelled panels and small open shelves, a richly carved panel door below with open recess under, flanked by glazed panelled doors and convex sides, raised on dwarf cabriole legs with scrolling feet, 62in. x 91in. high.
An impressive 'Arts & Crafts' longcase clock. The architectural case in oak, walnut and inlaid hardwoods, with carved roof tiles, and bird and griffin finials, over a pointed Gothic arch with a roundel carved with the initials ‘T.R.’. This above finely carved friezes, semi reeded Corinthian columns, marquetry panels showing unusual animals amongst foliage and a pair of carved dragon panels. The sides also decorated and with an access door for the three large weights. The 14” silvered brass dial inscribed Hurt & Son, Birmingham, with a subsidiary seconds dial and strike silent facility, the three train movement with a dead beat escapement, striking the quarters on eight bells. Now 2.48m high x 71cm wide (plinth base) x 30cm deep. This clock has apparently been reduced in height in the past.
A late 18th Century oak and mahogany crossbanded eight-day longcase clock, the square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and centre, inscribed "Coates, Wigan" with subsidiary second and date dials, scrolled spandrels, the hood with a swan-neck pediment, cylindrical columns, the trunk with a shaped crossbanded door flanked by quarter fluted columns, panelled base, 83in. (211cm) high. See lot 998 for illustration.
A Victorian walnut two-piece bedroom suite; the three-door wardrobe with a trailing acanthus carved cornice, central bevelled mirror door flanked by a pair of panelled doors, one enclosing shelves and drawers and with further carvings and a plinth base; the dressing table with quarter section trinket drawers, three drawers to the frieze, carved and fluted tapering legs and together with a matching washstand tile back. A Victorian mahogany and gilt brass kidney shaped vitrine cabinet, the hinged top with a bevelled kidney shaped glass panel, moulded gilt brass banding and edge, glazed sides on a base with a glazed door (a.f.) enclosing two shelves on cabriole legs with gilt brass mounts. (some damages), 48in. (122cm) high, 27in. (68cm) wide.
