The chased brass break arch dia;l with moonphase and painted rural scenes. The 33cm brass dial with silvered chapter ring, stylised Arabic brass numerals with date aperture and cherub spandrels. The square hood has over-laid gilt foliate decoration and reeded Roman columns with acanthus leaf capitols and the whole raised on bracket feet, 225cm tall.
