Both dials are ok, the main note would be pitting and tarnishing to the brass on both.

Bleaching and fading to the door, old repairs to the veneers, some veneer flex missing, splits to the wood and surface knocks. None of the brass finials are present, lacking any feet.

A late George II/early George III walnut crossbanded and line inlaid kneehole desk with frieze drawer above two banks of three graduated short drawers, with central recessed cupboard door, on bracket feet, height 79cm, width 85.5cm, depth 43cm.Additional InformationGeneral surface wear throughout, as you would expect. The top is quarter veneered, it does retain a good colour. The brass furniture appears to be original and if replaced has certainly used the original holes. The drawers are oak lined, a few flecks to the veneers have been repaired, but of solid and sound construction.
