A GEORGE III MAHOGANY AND BRASS MOUNTED BRACKET CLOCK AND BRACKET, the caddy top surmounted by a carrying handle, 7.5 inch (19cm) silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, door frame concealing Webster London and Strike / Silent lever, eight day fusee movement striking on a bell, the brass backplate engraved with foliate motifs and 'Wm Webster London, on four brass bracket feet, height with handle up 49cm, width at feet 29.5cm x depth 18.5cm, height of backplate 18.8cm x width 13cm x depth 5.8cm approx., together with the mahogany and brass bound bracket, width 32.5cm x height 21.5cm, with pendulum and two keys (Condition Report: movement is overwound, the pendulum will run for a few minutes then stops, not striking, no case keys, glued repairs to veneer around the glazed back case door, lifting and splitting to veneer on the caddy top at the top and rear and around the plinth, dial has patches of tarnish, the bracket has had a number of repair and restorations)
