An oak striking table clock, circa 1890, arched case with acorn finials, side sound frets, silvered dial elaborately engraved, two subsidiary dials for strike/silent and fast/slow, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking on a gong, 41cm high03.05.16, Case slightly faded, top side of the case with two cracks and two of the back finials are missing, front door is bowed, dial with small scratches, movement is complete, with pendulum.
Attributed to E. A. Taylor for Wylie and Lochhead, a Glasgow School walnut triple wardrobe, the shaped cornice above a central mirrored door flanked by doors to either side each with with stylised foliate marquetry cartouche, the base with a pair of drawers, pierced brass lockwork 216 x 206 x 65cm (84 x 80 x 25in)
Early 19th century French armoire, moulded top decorated with flower heads and catherine wheels above two doors, each with two shaped panels, decorated with flowering blossoms, six steel hinges, steel lock, brass escutcheons, interior with laths to support shelves (shelves missing), width 121cm (48"), depth 68cm (27"), height 196cm (77").Condition report: Canopy appears to be in slightly different colour to base as a result of perhaps being stored in another part of the house, left hand door with remnants of woodworm, battons for shelving (shelves missing). Condition reports are not available for Interiors sales.
