A 19th century French boulle marquetry bracket clock, with cherub and ball finial to the boulle marquetry case with glazed door, the embossed dial with Roman numeral plaques, diameter 5.5 ins, and with ormolu mounts to case, the movement by Marti & Company, the movement also stamped “Vicarino a Paris”. Height 20 ins, width 9.5 ins.
A large 19th century boulle marquetry bracket clock, with winged female mount to the boulle marquetry case, the glazed door enclosing the embossed circular dial (8.25 ins) with enamelled plaque Roman numerals and with further plaque beneath “Elkington & Co. a Paris”, the case with metal mounts and raised on short lobed feet, the two-train movement stamped “G.V.”. Clock height including finial 37 ins, width approximately 19 ins.

Benson, Ludgate Hill, London, having a brass circumference to the bevelled glass door enclosing the enamelled dial with Arabic numerals and two-train movement stamped “J.W.B.” and striking on a bell, with ebonised and mahogany case. Width 8.5 ins, height 7.5 ins.
A large William IV mahogany breakfront secretaire bookcase, with moulded cornice above a crossbanded frieze, the centre section with pair of panelled cupboard doors opening to shelves and above a secretaire drawer with fitted interior and further pair of panelled cupboard doors beneath flanked by flat pilasters, each end section with glazed upper portion and panelled cupboard door beneath. Height 101 ins, width 110 ins, depth to front of secretaire 24.5 ins. NOTE-this bookcase, although all of the same period, was initially a secretaire bookcase. The matching side sections clearly made by the same cabinetmaker are of slightly different timber although of exactly the same design as the centre section.

Height 89 ins.
