An 18th Century oak dwarf cupboard, the plain top with moulded edge over two panelled doors enclosing three adjustable shelves flanked by brass swan neck handles raised on bracket feet, 72 cm wide x 43.5 cm deep x 73.5 cm high Condition ReportDoor closes but there is no locking mechanism so it opens and closes freely. There is damage to the moulding and an area missing on the top. Replacement handles. One foot has been off. Very close match though - possible original. See images for more details. Splits evident throughout. Water damage. Knocks, bumps, etc. Interior appears to be later fitted. Replacement hinges and metal ware throughout. Another area of moulding has been cut and is loose but on. An area on the top has been patched. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.
A 19th Century walnut kneehole desk in the early 18th Century manner, the quartered feather-banded top with moulded edge over a single deep drawer and recessed cupboard door, flanked by two banks of three drawers with brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, the long drawer stamped "From W Williamson & Sons Guildford", 76 cm wide x 47 cm deep x 79 cm highCondition ReportSadly there are no missing veneers / mouldings present. The quartered top with several areas of minor loss or replacement veneers and some discolouration particularly the back right corner. Reeded mouldings between drawers with areas of damage and loss in several areas. Small drawers particularly with inset veneer sections to the centre areas in all bar the bottom left. See images for further detail. Central drawer with cracks, chipping and loss to the veneers on the feet. Right side panel with replacement section top right and several areas of denting, scratching, cracking, etc. Left panel similar though does not appear to be split in the same way. Back panels appear original though with some splitting both bottom right and left hand sides. See images for further detail.

Various splits to the wood mainly on the side panels and top is basically rotten. Piece missing from the top left hand corner of the door. Lock is a replacement. No key present. Bottom section of the door probable replacement - lack of moulding, etc. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further details.
