The Rapide is a four-door, four-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first four-door fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. It is based on the DB9 and underpinned by the Aston Martin VH platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria. This example is presented in the very attractive colour combination of metallic grey with a tan leather interior and silver wheels. The overall condition of the car is very impressive, the service record is meticulous, with a record of 14 services having been carried out, the majority of them being at Aston Martin main dealers. The coil packs were also replaced in the last few thousand miles. Offered to auction with a UK V5C registration document, comprehensive history file and MoT test certificate, this Rapide looks like great value. Consigned by Fraser Smith

The Austin Maestro was produced from 1982 to 1987 by British Leyland, and from 1988 until 1994 by Rover Group. The car was produced at Morris' former Oxford plant, also known as Cowley. Today, the redeveloped factory produces the BMW Mini. Supplied new by Henlys’ of Andover on 3rd August 1986 and having five owners since new, this plucky Austin Maestro camper has been predominantly garage-stored and is described by our vendor as remaining exceptionally original throughout. The bodywork is good with superb panel gaps, hinges and door shuts. It is notably Waxoyl protected and with solid inner wings. The measure of a good camper is the interior, a department where this little Countryman excels. The cushions are trimmed in the original material and have been re-padded with a built-in gas stove, this portable studio apartment is ready for camping fun or for display at car shows and events. The history file contains its Austin Rover owner’s wallet complete with owner’s manuals and a stamped service history booklet. It must be seen and inspected to appreciate the condition of this little, self-contained living space on wheels. The first generation V70 was an improved development on the basis of the 850 estate. Its overall design became more rounded doing away with the 850's square edges. Among the many changes were a completely revised front end, fully painted bumpers and side trim and clear indicator lenses all around. Most of the interior was redesigned, with new seats, door panels and dashboard. According to Volvo a total of 1800 changes were made. Standard equipment was improved significantly with remote central locking, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, two front- and two side airbags, power brakes with ABS and power windows being standard on every car. In all markets more powerful versions received better or upgraded standard equipment. The T5 and R were the series high-performance models. This V70 R with 250 bhp is the wolf in sheep’s clothing version of the ever-popular family car. Originally registered on the 1st August 1998 this estate version presents well in metallic red with a contrasting black leather and Alcantara trim. The look is enhanced with roof rails, five spoke alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, and mudguards. This two owner example is described as being both fun and practical. Introduced in March of 1971, the Corniche was a revised version of the H J Mulliner, Park Ward-bodied two-door variants of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and Bentley T-Series saloons, themselves notable as the Crewe factory's first unitary-construction cars. They featured the finest engineered technologies of the day, such as independent suspension, disc brakes in all four corners, and fuel injected power plants. In Corniche form, Rolls-Royce's well-tried 6.75-liter V8 produced around ten percent more power than standard and proved capable of propelling the car to a top speed in excess of 120mph with sports car-beating acceleration to match. The model proved a major success for Rolls-Royce, and although its exterior style remained recognizably Silver Shadow, the Corniche benefited from the regular updates and improvements made to the contemporary Silver Spirit range. Remaining in production well into the 1990s, the last convertible examples were delivered in 1995.This stunning 1973 Rolls-Royce Corniche was supplied new to Mr H A Gover in South Belfast through Hadley Green Garage with the special order of a decanter and two glasses in the passenger door pocket. Purchased by the previous owner in 2015, a private classic car collector, who sent the car to marque specialists Chelsea Workshop to completely restore the car from the ground up in his own colour scheme after two years and spending over £250,000 resulting in this beautiful Corniche Convertible. Since its completion the car has covered less than 1500 miles. Finished in cream with white soft top and cream leather interior it still retains the decanter and glasses in the passenger door. It is supplied with a V5 registration document and a large file containing invoices which show what has been done to the car and a set of the chassis cards supplied by the RREC. This has to be one of the best examples available anywhere in the world and if the colour of the piping on the seats is not to the new owners taste it would be a very inexpensive to have them re-coloured. The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 models were manufactured from 1971 through to 1989 and were the longest running production models after the G-Class. They were sold under the SL and SLC model names as the 280SL, 280SLC, 300SL, etc. up to the 560SL. The R107 roadster has been described as one of the best-looking Mercedes-Benz cars produced to date. The larger, third generation SL, initially with just a 3.5-litre engine (350 SL) mated to four-speed automatic transmission. The car featured a two-door monocoque bodyshell with independent suspension all round, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the front, semi-trailing arms, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the rear. The power assisted steering was Daimler-Benz's own re-circulating ball system. This one-off opportunity to own one of the lowest mileage, iconic Mercedes-Benz R107s in the world with a condition that is surmountable with not only this low mileage but with a high level of care and maintenance. First registered on 9th February 1989 and presented in gleaming white coachwork with blue MB Tex trim to the front and the optional bench seat in the rear topped of with a blue contrasting mohair hood. The car boasts just two previous keepers, the last owner a lady who purchased the car at 1,700 miles eight years previously and had the car stored in a dry heated garage between short dry weather outings. The car has had MoT’s fulfilled on a regular basis in Stoke on Trent and regular health checks, the next which has just been carried out along with a service and MoT until April 2025 with unsurprisingly no advisories. Inside the fuel cap you can still find the original check the oil every 6,000 miles sticker and in the boot an original tool roll in the original plastic pouch.Originality is indeed the key word here, but for the tyres the car is completely original unrestored and as it would have left the showroom in 1989 including the Blaupunkt cassette radio an option from new. Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body and powerful six or twelve-cylinder engine. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Aston Martin introduced the six litre Cosworth designed and built V12 engine with 24 valve cylinder heads, developing 420bhp and limited to 185mph. Other changes included chassis and braking upgrades, the much more powerful engine demanding greater quantities of air intake and cooling, as well as uprated brakes. Ian Callum enlarged the grille, added fog lamps and re-styled the valances to give the car a more aggressive look. This lovely low milage Mendip Blue with cream leather trim example of the Vantage Volante was registered on the 2nd November 2000 and supplied by Stratstone of Mayfair. The car was serviced regularly by Stratstone of Mayfair until 2006, which must have been a no expense spared philosophy boasting 12 stamps in that time. In 2007 at just 22,000 miles this example was then subject to a category D insurance claim, the owner decided to have this work completed and as such the car has been owned and enjoyed without issue ever since. The book pack and service schedule shows further stamps with main dealers and specialists alike the most recent with NVS in April of this year alongside a new MoT. The Cayman R was introduced in 2011 as the pinnacle of the 987 generation. Based on the 2009 987.2 Cayman S, the Cayman R was lighter and came with additional power and handling upgrades. A 54.8 kg weight saving over the Cayman S was achieved with the use of 19 inch lightweight wheels shared with the Boxster Spyder, aluminium doors from the 997 911 GT3, carbon fibre bucket seats from the 997 911 GT2, and with the removal of the radio, storage compartments, door handles and rear wiper. There were minor changes to aerodynamics with the Cayman R, mostly coming from the use of the rarely selected Porsche OEM aerokit, introduced as an option in 2007. A carbon rear spoiler was added as well as more aggressive front fascia spoilers. With all new passive sports suspension, the Cayman R was 10 mm lower than a Cayman S equipped with PASM, or a full 20 mm lower than a Cayman S equipped with standard passive suspension. The powertrain is a 3.4 litre direct injection flat-six engine with 326 hp with a six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK automatic gearbox. The standard Cayman R can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 4.9 seconds with the optional seven-speed PDK dual clutch transmission or with the optional Sport Chrono Package offering launch control, it can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 4.7 seconds. The Cayman R also boasts a top speed of 175 mph.Presented in Aqua Blue with silver decals and black leather heated seats and sitting on optional 19-inch Turbo II forged aluminium wheels this example has just been subject to a major 12-year service which included new brake lines throughout, new battery and all new air conditioning condensers. Specified with the optional PDK gearbox, PCM, automatic climate control, park assist, heated seats, sound package plus and mobile phone preparation. Owned by our vendor since October 2022 it has a full history file and although specified with few creature comforts the car boasts a Miltek exhaust system to complement one of Porsches best all round drivers cars. This is a well maintained, well optioned example of a very collectable car, many of which have been locked away but it would be a shame not to enjoy such a fabulous drivers example. The origins of the Corniche came from the continuation of the 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow fixedhead coupé and 1967 drophead coupé, constructed by the famed coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward in London. The car was named after the stunning roads along the Côte d'Azur in France and was an elegant two-door design available with either a coupé or convertible body. By 1982, the coupé had ceased production, but convertibles continued to be built until 1996. The first Rolls-Royce to wear the Corniche name was a 1939 prototype based on the Bentley Mk. V, although this was never produced due to the onset of World War II. The car used the standard Rolls-Royce 6750cc V8 engine as fitted to the Silver Shadow and had an aluminium-silicon alloy block and aluminium cylinder heads with cast iron wet cylinder liners. The fuel system was in the form of twin SU carburettors which were later replaced with Bosch fuel injection from 1980 onwards.Finished in white with magnolia hide, this Corniche was first registered in June 1987. This is the later derivative of the Corniche which included body-coloured bumpers amongst many other upgrades. Previously owned by Lord Sainsbury this car has been well maintained throughout its life including time spent as a highly desirable wedding car. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a two-door grand touring convertible with a removable hardtop that was produced between May 1955 and February 1963 with a prototype first shown at the 1954 New York Motorshow. It was sold alongside the faster, more expensive Mercedes-Benz 300SL which it closely resembled both in its styling, engineering, detailing and fully independent suspension. However, the 190SL did not use the 300SL's purpose-built tubular spaceframe W198 platform but was built on a shortened monocoque R121 unit. The 190SL was powered by a new 1.9 litre straight-four SOHC engine that developed 104bhp and was later also used in the W120, 180 and W121, 190 models. The four-cylinder engine block of the 190SL was based on the six- cylinder engine of the 300SL.This left hand drive Mercedes-Benz was imported into the UK from the US in 2021 with registration at the DVLA on October of the same year. Finished in cream with a black interior and a new black soft top. The engine runs well and we are told this 190SL drives with no known faults, these are supremely stylish cars with uncomplicated and reliable mechanics. The interior is tidy, as is the chromework. The XJ series of motorcars were the mainstay of Jaguar cars since 1968 and, in fact, was the last motorcar to have any input by Sir William Lyons, its founder. After the series I and II, a relatively short run of two-door XJ coupés with a pillarless hardtop body called the XJ-C were built between 1975 and 1978. The car was actually launched at the London Motor Show in October 1973, but it subsequently became clear that it was not ready for production, the economic troubles unfolding in the western world at this time seem to further reduced any sense of urgency about producing and selling the cars. They finally started to emerge from Jaguar showrooms only some two years later. These were priced higher than the four-door car so were immediately relatively exclusive. The profile of this pillarless coupe is both attractive and elegant. Presented in good order throughout the body is straight and the door shuts are good. The British Racing Green paintwork is generally in good order and the black trim shows little signs of wear. This Jaguar Coupe is fitted with a 5 speed Getrag manual gearbox. The gearbox and the V12 engine are well mated and on a recent test drive the car fired up on request and performed exhilaratingly well. During his tenure this enthusiast owned example has benefited from dry storage. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a file containing various bills and receipts this stunning Jaguar is ready for a new custodian. Consigned by Dominic Lake.

The first XJ was launched in 1968 and the designation has been used for successive Jaguar flagship models since then. The original model was the last Jaguar saloon to have had the input of Sir William Lyons, the company's founder. A number of incarnations of this extremely robust and admired saloon appeared over the years finishing up in September 1997 with the X300 XJ, revised for a final time, and this time the car (known as X308) had changed more over the X300 than the X300 had done over the XJ40. The exterior styling which won the award of ‘L'Automobile piu Bella del Mondo’ with only real notable changes being new, shallower grille, bumpers incorporating oval front indicators. The passenger compartment was further strengthened by use of ultra-high strength boron steel and the high-speed crash survivability was further improved by incorporation of a unique ‘swans neck’ design into the crumple zones. More obvious changes lay under the bonnet and inside. An all-new, and hugely praised, V8 engine was introduced and was available in 3.2, 4.0 and 4.0 litre supercharged versions. The interior was changed greatly, featuring an all-new ‘oval design’ with matching door veneers. with the abundance of wood, chrome and leather that is a British luxury car trademark. This delightful Jaguar XJR was first registered on 28th May 2004 and has clearly been well cared for. The grey coachwork is in good order as is the interior. The V8 supercharged engine runs well and offers performance that is impressive by any standard. The gearbox operates smoothly and the ancillaries operate as they should. These aluminium bodied Jaguars are fabulous to drive and this one is no exception. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960’s and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. The Lotus Carlton was a Vauxhall Carlton upgraded by Lotus Cars to be a 177mph sports saloon with acceleration equal to contemporary supercars. When released, it was the fastest four-door saloon car in the world. The external differences were minimal with the addition of a rear spoiler, air intakes on the bonnet, Lotus badges on the front wings and bootlid, a bodykit and considerably wider wheel arches. The car was only sold in one colour, a shade of British Racing Green called Imperial Green, a very dark green that in anything but direct light appears black.Lotus re-worked the 2969cc, 24V straight six used in the Carlton GSi and bored it out to 3615cc. In addition, twin Garrett T25 turbochargers were attached resulting in 377bhp and torque at 419lb/ft. Power was transmitted through a six-speed ZF manual gearbox and power was driven to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The brakes were supplied by AP with 330mm ventilated discs all round and racing calipers. This stunning example of the iconic super saloon is presented in near unmarked Imperial Green coach work with the luxurious full black leather. First registered on the 1st August 1991 to the first owner who treasured the car until 1995. More recently the car was found by a gentleman who discovered the car in a barn having been stored between 2006 when it had covered 59,614 and 2020. Our vendor seeing the potential in what is a low mileage example, purchased and embarked on what became a three years restoration program. The restoration included a full glass out repaint after any necessary welding had been completed, the underside was fully refurbished, engine removed, rebuilt and Turbos refurbished and indeed still under warranty before the entire interior and wheels were refurbished. A significant amount has been spent, £20,000 with a Lotus specialist and an estimated £60,000 of restoration costs alone. The history file has been sourced from new until 2006 when the car was taken off the road and a photographic history of the restoration since is accompanying the car as is the original build number 0214G. After finishing, a previous owner got in touch to see the car in its splendour fondly recalling the Lotus bruit in its heyday. One of the most iconic 90’s saloons, and an example that has had far in excess of value lavished upon it to make it one of the best examples on the market and entirely collectable, viewing is highly recommended and is offered with a fresh MoT. On 5 November 2009, Porsche officially announced a new variant of the Boxster, which was officially unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Motor Show. Positioned above the Boxster S, the Boxster Spyder was the lightest Porsche on the market at the time, weighing 1,275 kg, 80 kg lighter than a Boxster S. This was achieved through the elimination of the conventional soft top's operating mechanism, the radio/PCM unit, door handles, air conditioning, storage compartments, cup holders and large LED light modules on the front fascia, although some of these could be re-added to the car in the form of options. Weight saving was also gained using aluminium doors, an aluminium rear deck and the lightest 19-inch wheels in the Porsche pallet. The Spyder has a firmer suspension set-up than the other Boxster models and is almost one inch lower in order to have improved handling. A manually operated canvas top, carbon fibre sports bucket seats and two signature humps running along the back of the vehicle provide characteristic design elements. Powered by a six-cylinder boxer engine rated at 320 bhp and 273 lb ft of torque, a 10 hp increase in power over the Boxster S and the related Cayman S. The Boxster Spyder came with a six-speed manual transmission as standard and had Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox available as an option. This stunning example of the very collectable Porsche Spyder is presented in Glacier White with carbon seats trimmed in Alcantara and black hood. Originally registered on 11th May 2011 a car that defies the 13 years the car has been on UK roads. Boasting under 20,000 miles the car has been cared for very well and presents almost as well as when it was purchased new from Porsche with the original launch book even included. Comprehensively serviced by Porsche main dealers and marque specialist Precision Porsche with invoices present in the history file which includes a Porsche health check carried out circa 1,000 miles ago with the next service due April 2025. The E60 M5 was introduced in 2005, with a V10 engine and seven-speed transmission linking the car with the BMW Sauber Formula One program. The E60 M5 was the world's first production saloon to use a V10 petrol engine. The E63/E64 M6 coupé and convertible are based on a shortened version of the M5 chassis and largely use the same mechanical components. The official 0 to 62 mph acceleration figure is 4.7 seconds, however magazine tests have recorded figures down to 4.1 seconds. The E60 M5 was the fastest four-door saloon available at the time of its introduction with the top speed electronically restricted to 155 mph but could be raised to 190 mph with the optional M-driver's package. To cap off a stunning entry into the sports saloon market the M5 recorded a Nürburgring lap time of an impressive 8:13 and with just 1,776 UK examples produced is very well thought of amongst collectors and enthusiasts. This wonderful E60 BMW was registered new on 28th June 2007 and is fitted with the powerful 5 litre V10. This M5 has had five former keepers from new and presents very well throughout. Offered in Silverstone blue paintwork with full Silverstone black leather interior both presenting in very good condition throughout. Converted to a manual, six-speed M3 gearbox with a higher ratio differential by Everything M Power in Banbury, the UK’s leading M specialist. Other works completed include the replacement of the con-rods and bearings in 2023 and a comprehensive service history. This is an excellent low mileage example in fantastic condition.
