The company was established in 1879 and closed in 1969, interestingly they manufactured hand grenades for use in WWI. Late Victorian mahogany floor-standing collectors cabinet, single glazed door enclosing single bank of twelve slide drawers, each with ring-turned handles and glazed covers, all bar one with pinned specimen name cards, raised on a plinth base, 52cm wide x 48cm deep x 89cm high Condition report: Outer structure generally tired in appearance with numerous scuff, scratches to top and edges, losses to edges on mouldings on top and base. Sides with mildew. Base very scratched. Interior is in far better order. Some scratches noted and wear to varnish where draws have been pulled out. Draws run smoothly.
