A fully signed Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' bearing all four signatures of the group to the reverse of the cover. The cover has been restored near the bottom of the rear of the sleeve but has not affected the signatures in any way. The accompanying provenance is as follows "This is to confirm that this autographed Please Please Me LP cover was fully signed by all four members of the group in 1963 at the Birmingham Town Hall when my father who was a policeman was given this signed record on behalf of the group. He was on duty outside the Beatles dressing room door and kept fans and press away from the group before and after their performance that day. This statement is to confirm this story of how the signatures were obtained".
