Roman chapter ring with Arabic five minutes to outer track, subsidiary silvered Chime/Silent and Chime on 8 bells/Westminster selection dials, gilt metal shell, cherub mask and foliate spandrels, the case painted to simulate lacewood, the caddy top with brass pineapple urn and flame urn finials and floral swag mount, the canted body with gilt brass caryatids and shell spandrels above the arched bevelled glass door, decorative pierced grilles to sides, on a cavetto moulded plinth with gilt brass mounts with foliate paw feet, 28½in. FIRST EDITION of the first known anthology of Scottish poetry. Part III contains a poem entitled "The Tunnice-Court." Although the book ends with the words "The End of the First Volume", no other parts were published.

Brass pulls, black felts throughout, drop-front door, no key. In good working order but needs a good clean as residue from tape around sides. A 19th Century ebonised, ormolu and hard stone mounted credenza, the top over panels of hard stone fruit, the central door with conforming hard stone vase and flowers, flanked by glass doors enclosing shelves and canted corners mounted with Neoclassical herms, overall with ormolu mounts, the whole raised upon turned feet, 116cm high x 173cm wide x 44cm deep
A George III oak longcase clock, with broken scroll neck pediment, above an arch door, enclosing a 13 inch brass dial signed by Dent, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals beneath painted man and an eight day rack striking movement with anchor escapement, above a crossbanded trunk door flanked by quartered columns above panelled base, raised on bracket feet, including two weights and a pendulum, 212 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Case: appears fairly original but has sustained knocks and bashes and has some veneer losses. the front of the plinth has split horizontally. The backboard does not appear to have been disturbed. Dial is original and appears unaltered. Movement- appears original and needs cleaning . The clock is fairly original overall and although there may be minor repairs that have occurred over time these are not substantial.
A walnut cabinet on stand, early 18th century and later, the cavetto moulded frieze above an arch mirrored door, enclosing three shelves, above two banded drawers, raised on cabriole legs terminating with trifid feet, 185 cm high x 103 cm wide x 56 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: Extensive re-veneering.

An interesting Gothic Folly Dolls House, English circa 1850, with turrets, flat roof and chimney, Gothic folly windows to the front and sides, carved stud folly door with a central cloth face with a cross, front opening to reveal one room, dressed with figures and furniture (not of the period), garden base (height 52cm x width 74cm x 35cm). Provenance: Hermione Pearson used this house to raise £25,000 for Save the Children, exhibiting this house.
