A late 18th century 8 day longcase clock, oak and mahogany case with full length door, quarter reeded columns surmounted by a swan necked pediment and brass paterae, ogee feet, the painted dial signed for George Monks of Prescot and having rolling moon dial to the arch, false plate cast name looks to be Wilson, though has been cut out for the moon work which is consistent with the dial style and colours, 8-day two-train bell striking movement with two cast iron weights and pendulum.
