A 19TH CENTURY INLAID AND CROSS-BANDED MAHOGANY LONG-CASE CLOCK. Swan-neck pediment above an arched and painted dial. The arch painted with a rural scene depicting a figure standing outside a church. The painted dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and signed, David Stewart. With subsidiary dial for seconds and for date and the spandrels painted with church towers, within two turned columns. Above a trunk with front-canted corners and a cross-banded door. Raised on a moulded box base, 80in (204cm)h x 20in (51cm). (1)

Leaf-moulded upper panel flanked with leaf corbels, above a frieze drawer. Two cupboard doors below, flanked to either side with spiral reeded columns.
