EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK THIRTY HOUR COTTAGE LONG CASE CLOCK having broken swan neck pediment over arch painted face, flanked by plain turned pillars, moulded edge waist door, flanked by moulded pilasters on a plain panelled base with stile feet. Arch painted face 16.5" x 12", having Roman numerals and painted with birds and shells, arch date aperture name now indistinct. Overall 2m high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: A little scruffy and unloved, numerals have been poorly repainted, glass is cracked. Has a weight and pendulum.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK AND MAHOGANY THIRTY HOUR COTTAGE LONG CASE CLOCK, having broken swan neck pediment above square aperture flanked by reeded columns, the waist with cross banded door flanked by reeded quarter pillasters on a cross banded panelled base with bracket feet. 12" sq. painted face with Roman numerals and date aperture, marked: Droitwich. Thirty hour movement striking on one bell, 212cm high overall. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Fair condition with age, a little dry, no obvious significant losses, pendulum and weight included.

Thirty hour movement striking on one bell. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Fair condition, face is worn, numerals will require repainting, pilasters to hood are loose and will require relocating, lacks original feet. Weight and pendulum included.

Silvered dial with semi-circular arch, foliate design and the God Poseidon in the top arch. Chapter ring has Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture. Crown Devon Edward VIII cigar box, with musical movement opening and closing the door, printed marks to reverse, 21cm wide Condition report: No damage or restoration. Overall crazing which has stained in places. The mechanism does not work correctly, however it sporadically will open and close the door when the button in pressed.
