A French Oak kneehole Desk having plank top with bull nose moulded edge and three frieze drawers, the central wider drawer having fitted key lock, he left pedestal having flight of three drawers, the right pedestal, a single moulded panel door, with the sides and front having carved panels. An art nouveau Walnut Dressing Chest, matching previous lot, swan pediment architectural top, having three mirrors supported on small single door with twin mirrored pane, corner cupboards, moulded top over two short over one long drawer, Mahogany lined with ornate brass plate handles, standing on turned legs. 42 1/4'' wide x 63'' high x 18 3/4'' deep
A mid 18c thirty hour longcase clock , the 11" square brass dial signed John Lee of Cookham on the silvered chapter ring. The spandrels are of the vase and scroll pattern and the dial centre is matted and engraved with birds. The birdcage movement has rope drive, anchor escapement and countwheel striking on a bell. It is contained in an oak case with broken arch pediment to the case with three finials and rudimentary carving above the dial. The hood door has attached plain columns and the trunk has long rectangular trunk door flanked by quarter columns, the plain base has a tall plain plinth, 84" tall overall.
