Right hand door panel with two vertical cracks (25 and 40cm)both sides of cabinet are badly cracked, (RHS 115cm from bottom running up the 'fielded' edge) (LHS 40cm from top and through both front and back edge 'fielded' sections).Shelves modern softwood. Damage and repair to rebate securing carved apron piece.
Daniel Bellman, Broughton, George III oak and mahogany longcase clock, arched painted dial with subsidiary second dial and date dial, the lunette painted with a figure by a stream, spandrels with figures and lake scenes, 8-day two-chain movement, case with scrolled hood, short arched door, flanked by reeded sections, plinth base, height 22cm.
