An Oak Side Cabinet; composed from a small Georgian hanging cabinet to the upper section, with shaped and fielded panelled door flanked by pillasters, 63.5cm wide 25.5cm deep 75cm high, the lower associated section fitted with a drawer on bobbin turned supports, 64.5cm wide 171cm high overall.

A good quality and architecturally decorative Edwardian mahogany sideboard by Turner, Woodward & Co Ltd of 36 John Dalton Street, Manchester, The upper section featuring a central bevelled and shaped mirror recessed between twin glazed panelled cabinet doors, above carved winged cherubic head motifs, the reverse breakfront shaped base featuring two central long drawers flanked on either side by the pedestal supports, each of which incorporates a short frieze drawer above a decoratively panelled cupboard door, flanked by fluted canted corners, raised on spreading plinth base, width approx. 184cm.

A little spotting, otherwise nearly mint state with substantial original colour.
BRITISH 18th CENTURY TOKENS, Thomas Sharp, Halfpenny Trial Strike of the Reverse Die in White Metal, obv view of a house and inn, a figure can be seen leaning out of the upper left window, rev view of houses and an inn, the windows are not filled in and a figure can be seen leaning out of the upper left window of the middle building, no arch above the door on the building to left, edge HALFPENNY, in raised letters (D&H Warwickshire 313). Trifling blemishes, bits of red casting wax adhering, otherwise nearly as made and exceptionally rare.
