WINTERHALDER & HOFMEIER; an early 20th century German mahogany dome top repeating bracket clock, the matted brass dial with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring beneath three subsidiary dials, one for chime and silent, one to regulate speed and one to select the gongs, with eight day twin barrel movement striking on eight gongs, the case with demi-fluted corners, pilasters and brass paw feet, height 45cm, width 34cm, depth 25cm.Additional InformationCurrently running although this is no guarantee of working order, the case with general light scuffs and scratches throughout consistent with age, the veneer to the bottom right hand corner of the door has an old crack and has lifted slightly, there is a chip to the bevelled glass of the front door at about 1 o'clock and some marks to the wood here also, there is smaller chip to the edge of the bevelled glass towards the bottom right corner, the brass dial with some scratches and general wear, the material behind the side fret panels has faded from a red to a beige, general tarnishing to brass mounts throughout, the wood of the bevelled door is a slightly different colour and a different finish to the varnish.
BAKER OF APPLEBY; an 18th century thirty hour longcase clock, the brass face with applied chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, in oak case, height 201cm, width 48cm, depth 23cm.Additional InformationThe cornice is a later replacement, the hinges are replacements, complete with pendulum, the case looks to have been cut down, the door does not close completely shut probably due to the replacement hinges.

An early 20th century large pair of carved pine arched doors, each inset with a leaded stained glass panel above a moulded panel, 233 x 62cm each (2).Additional InformationAge wear patina throughout from age and use. Has an infill block for where an older handle, escutcheon and letter box were once located and where a round handle would have been to another door. The handle and lock are not original (no key) Repairs to the moulding where the lock plate is.

Knocks to the protruding edge between the glazed door and the panelled door. Other light age wear here and there, but despite the faults, overall appearance is good.

Both with some age wear, knocks and scuffs here and there but essentially OK.
GILLOWS; a Victorian satin walnut and inlaid bedside cabinet with three-quarter raised gallery above single door enclosing a shelved interior and raised on a moulded plinth, stamped to the top of the cupboard door 'Gillow', height 81cm, width 41cm, depth 38cm.Provenance: From a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationA couple of surface scratches but of good colour. The door has a sprung action which is still good and tight. A few knocks to the plinth base, but overall a good example.

The brass handles to the base section are not original. An old veneer repair to the front left corner of the base section and a crack to the front right corner of the base section. One of the drawers with a crack to the left hand side, general age wear patina of light scratches and scuffs throughout commensurate with age and use.

Cannot see signs of woodworm but we are unable to examine every single piece of timber so cannot guarantee its absence. This item will need some attention.

An Edwardian inlaid rosewood music cabinet with raised back above a panelled door and inset with six bevelled glass panes, on tapered square legs, height 130cm, width 56cm, depth 37cm.Additional InformationThe raised mirror back is not secure and will need rescrewing from underside to make it secure. The left hand bracket of the raised back is chipped. All of the mirror plates with some spotting and wear, the central upper plate is pushed into the door a little so it gapes at the bottom. The central panel gapes where it meets the moulding to the right hand side. General scuffs and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use.

Top flat edge may have originally had a gallery as there are six holes which are filled in. Top also with some water marks. Light patina of general age wear to surface but overall ok. Internally with no drawers and with some ink and pen marks.
A George III oak bureau with fall-front enclosing a fitted interior with eight drawers and four pigeon holes around a central cupboard door inlaid with initials 'IM' and dated 1738, over two short and two long drawers on bracket feet, height 110cm, width 92cm, depth 50cm.Additional InformationThe date and initials are on the interior of the bureau, which does not show very clearly on the additional images. Stains, marks and heavy general wear throughout. The sliding board to the interior is somewhat loose and does not fit entirely within the recess, some old repairs. Differentiations in colour, scuffs, scrapes, general wear and tear. No visible signs of worm, but we are unable to inspect all parts of this bureau, so it is a possibility. The split to the side is more of a gap in the joints between the panels. Top can be lifted off the drawers. Key only fits the top lock.
