Lot 1

Formerly the property of Sir Elton John- 1991 Aston Martin Virage 2 door coupe, chassis number 50182, engine number 89/50182/, reg. no. A3 VHB. Powered by a 5340cc V8 engine and coupled to an automatic gear box, the Virage was a byword for speed, luxury and exclusivity. 426 Virages were produced between 1988 and 1995, ‘50182’ was ordered new by Sir Elton John and registered in the name of his company, William A Bong Ltd. The car, very much to Sir Elton's personal requirements was finished in a Rolls Royce colour (Seychelles Blue), with a blue piped cream leather interior and a bespoke Sony sound system was also fitted at a cost of nearly £5,000. All meaning the total cost new was £129,950. After Sir Elton sold the car in 1997, it passed between private owners, with the car passing to its current keeper following the death of his father. In recent years the car has seen limited use, with the last MOT expiring on 21st October 2020. The estimated mileage is around 14,000 miles only, however the car has a fault which has caused the mileage to jump up by itself (see recent MOT's). During this period of its life, time has caught up with the car and currently it does not run, although turns over freely. It now needs an enthusiastic new owner to give it the time and attention such a fabulous car deserves. Supplied with V5, two keys and an extensive history file. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).

Lot 12

1993 (K) Jaguar XJ40 saloon, Reg. No. K140TLD, six cylinder 3980cc engine, automatic transmission - only 66,400 miles approxThis attractive classic Jaguar saloon is finished in pale blue with beige hide upholstery. It has all the usual Jaguar refinements and is supplied with V5, stamped service book (12 stamps), service bills and old MOTs supporting the mileage. Current MOT until March 2024. A well cared for example in excellent condition. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT)Very good overall condition, small scrape on lower panel on near side rear door but no obvious rust issues. Few small scratches to drivers door. Everything works and it drives without fault. Just mot'd and air con re-gassed. Good service history file and well looked after. A very nice example , see extra images

Lot 15

1964 Humber Sceptre MKI 1592cc 4 door saloon, reg. no. BWC 856B. Finished in an attractive two tone red colour scheme, this Rare 1960's Humber presents itself very well, with very good paintwork, chrome, carpet and interior. It is offered for auction by direction of executors of the late owner's estate. They have informed us that the car currently has a fuel leak so is unable to be run safely. It is supplied with a V5, keys and owners handbook. Additional paperwork will be passed on to the new keepers if located. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).The Humber overall presents very nicely and would appear to have been restored at some stage in its past. The interior, carpets, paint and chrome all present very nicely but with a few areas that could be improved. The bonnet / front end is quite flat with some spotting / micro blisters and would benefit from a machine polish or possibly a respray. The chrome work overall is not perfect (but is very good) with some minor pitting only. The tyres all round are cracked and would in our opinion need replacing. The drivers seat has some damage to the piping but otherwise the interior is very good. The sills, arches and door bottoms are all good with no signs of rust coming through. Mechanically the car needs some attention as it will run over but does not run, although it sounds like it wants to! The fuel leak would appear to be coming from / close to the carb (see additional pictures). The car (MOT exempt) was last MOT'd in July 2019. We believe it has not been run on the road for around 12 months.

Lot 16

1958 Nash Metropolitan 2 door hard top, chassis number HE6HCS126798, reg. no. KSJ 568, finished in an attractive Turquoise and white two tone scheme. This scarce 1950's Nash, built by Austin at their Longbridge factory is offered for auction by direction of executors of the late owners estate. The car has been stored for several years, following a period of ill health and currently does not run, although the engine turns over freely. Supplied with a V5, keys, some older MOT's and spare parts. It would make for an interesting project. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).

Lot 17

The blue leather and vinyl interior has every conceivable extra including electric windows, electric adjustable seats, and air conditioning and even a Cartier digital clock. The specification includes 5 litre V8 engine, automatic transmission with power steering. This excellent example has only approximately 24,000 miles indicated which may well be true judging by the overall condition of the car. We are informed that it was rented by the production company for use in the Elton John biopic movie ' Rocket Man'. It is supplied with V5 document, old Mot certificates, handbook, sales brochure and service documents . We are selling this car on behalf of the executors of the late Mr Paul Westcott, an American car enthusiast who regularly used and enjoyed his collection. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).N.B. We have been informed that the car is a 7.5 litre, not a 5 litre as per the V5.
