18TH CENTURY WELSH PINE 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK, the face marked C Vaughan of Pontpool, having caddy topped hood, square aperture, plain waist door on panel base, brass face with Roman numerals and later seconds dial, pierced gilded spandrels. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The case has alterations and appears to have been stripped, with replacements.

VICTORIAN PAINTED MAHOGANY SERPENTINE FRONTED DISPLAY CABINET having broken swan neck pediment above single serpentine door, revealing glass shelves to the interior, the projecting base with two blind panelled cupboards painted with couples in 18th Century dress, open shelf below on square tapering legs with flower head and trailing ribbon painted decoration. 145 x 96 x 213cm approx. Note: Provenance acquired by Rhys Davies, High Sheriff of Breconshire in the 1920's, who owned collieries in Abercraf, Breconshire. Believed to have been acquired by him from the Swansea Dock Authorites who had placed the cabinet in rooms made available to the Prince of Wales at the opening of Swansea Docks in 1881, accompanied by Princess Alexandra. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby, some wear and tear in places commensurate with age but no obvious significant damage or losses.

(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: It will split and come to pieces for transport but not completely. Generally structurally sound but with losses and damage in places. Areas of damaged and lost vaneers. Splits to door panels. Holes drilled in ends. One shelf to the wider cupboard - splits to side and wear to feet. Far from perfect. Back boards not in - 3 with it may need work.

EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK CARMARTHENSHIRE LOW PRESS CUPBOARD having moulded cornice above two blind panelled doors with four moulded ogee panels, the interior revealing two fitted shelves, the protruding base with an arrangement of four drawers with ivory escutcheons and turned handles standing on bracket feet. 138 x 52 x 159cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather dry and faded in places. One door has some losses to it on one edge and opposite that there is a large split, side splits and shrikage splits. General wear as expected with age. One interior shelf may be a replacement.

19TH CENTURY WELSH MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK by Jonathan Morgan of Narberth, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by yellow metal mounted reeded vertical columns, strung inlaid waist door flanked by canted angles on a strung inlaid panel base with outswept bracket feet. Painted face with floral spandrels and arch, Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. The face is 58 x 29cm approx. Eight day two train movement, strikes on one bell. Overall 228cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Case is a little worn and tired but appears complete. The face is grubby and worn with some letters not legible. Seconds dial missing. Movement very grubby, dusty and unloved.

EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK AND MAHOGANY TWO TRAIN LONGCASE CLOCK by George Donisthorpe of Birmingham, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above square aperture flanked by yellow metal mounted reeded pilasters, the waist with cross banded and shell inlaid door flanked by quarter reeded pilasters on a panelled base with bracket feet. 29cm square approx engraved brass face with Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. Two train movement striking on one steel bell. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition. The hood is all mahogany. The rest of the carcass is oak with mahogany cross banding. Vertical split to base. Includes two weights, pendulum.

19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK by T Cox, Tipton (West Midlands near Wolverhampton), the cross banded hood with broken arch swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by reeded columns, the waist with quarter reeded pilasters and cross banded and inlaid waist door with matching panel below on an inlaid and cross banded panel base with original outswept feet. Repainted face having Roman numerals, floral spandrels and cottage scene to the arch, seconds dial and dater aperture, face 49 x 34cm approx. Eight day two train movement, striking on one bell. Overall 223cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Appearing good condition generally. Face having been repainted, case a little dry but basically good. Includes two weights, winding key and pendulum. We do not test if working - sold as seen.

18TH CENTURY OAK 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK by Edward Bilbie of Chew Stoke, the case with moulded cornice, having later pediment, square aperture flanked by turned columns, plain waist door and reduced panel base. Brass face 27 x 27xm approx, with Roman chapter ring, date aperture and pierced spandrels. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Additions and alterations, repair to the door. The base has been reduced, the hood has got an added pediment. The case generally is poor. The case has vertical architectural type pillars.

GOOD QUALITY 18TH CENTURY DESIGN OAK TWO TRAIN REPRODUCTION LONGCASE CLOCK by Titchmarsh & Goodwin, having moulded cornice over square aperture flanked by balusters pillars above a plain waist door and a panelled base. Brass face with Roman silvered chapter ring and pierced spandrels. Two train brass movement striking on steel bell. Overall 210cm high approx. Complete with two brass cased weights, winding key and pendulum. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition overall. : In good original condition - very minor wear in places but no damage and good overall. Waist door is open but locked and missing its key. Inc. 2 brass cased weights, pulleys and clock key.
