A 19th Century Chinese Export Black Lacquered and Gilt Decorated Cabinet, richly decorated throughout with figures in a landscape, the swan neck pediment above two cupboard doors with moulded panels enclosing an arrangement of drawers, above two hinged leaves enclosing a fitted interior of compartments, on cabriole legs with carved claw feet, 67cm by 66cm by 168cmStructure - legs very weak. Right hand cupboard door internally small split. Central hinge door hinges detached. Glass panel damaged. Internal drawers five ivory handles missing. Hinged leaves faults and losses around the corners. Top surface is rather worn. Further scuffs and faults around the corner of the table and legs.
Original & Genuine Cavern Club & other Liverpool club membership cards from the early 1960's: Interesting ephemera items all belonging to, and in the name of one student at Liverpool university, plus other items - The items Include; Cavern Club 1962 & 1963 cards. These original cards contain autographs of various artists, including the Beatles, The Rolling Stones & Gerry & The Pacemakers, it is not thought however that these signatures are actually by the artists, they may well have been signed by the manager or other persons, at the club or elsewhere. This is however the opinion of one expert, please make your own minds up on this. Other original club cards include Iron Door Club 1962 & 63, The Sink Club 1962, The Zodiac coffee bar x 2, The Casbah coffee club 1962, Mardis Gras club 1962 & 63, The Jacaranda Club 1962, The Blue Angel Club 1962, 3 x DJ Bob Wooler record request by Club card member Brian Joseph Coughlan, who is the named holder of all the other above mentioned club cards. There is also a Beatles guest ticket stub, it could not be established if this was genuine or not.

Break arch style door, embellished corner decorations with brass lined mouldings to front and glazed side panels.Arched dial plate with gilded acanthus spandrels, Chime silent subsidiary dial,silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic minute track. False pendulum and chamfered date aperture with matted brass centre and silvered name plate. The triple fusee movement, Chain driven with anchor escapement,four cannon pillars. Quarter striking Whittington tune on a nest of 8 silvered bells,hourly strike on a large single bell. Heavily engraved rear plate throughout,centred William Hughes, Holborn, with matching engraved pendulum bob. 43cm x 24cm x 18cm.
