A pine cased eight-day longcase clock, Galloway Kilbirnie, 18th / 19th Century The swan neck pediment with dentil cut border and columns to the glazed hood, the 11inch dial with silvered chapter ring inset with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the corners inscribed with foliate spandrels, the trunk with scalloped door raised on a scalloped base and bracket feet, 214cm high with two weights and pendulum.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded housekeepers cupboard, with a cavetto cornice above four panelled and crossbanded cupboard doors enclosing an arrangement of nine painted pine shelves, the base with a central cupboard door and seven drawers, upon a plinth base and later bun feet, lacking some drawer handles, 233 x 225 x 56 cms. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1210 Cornice end loose, signs of repair/restoration to 12" length of cornice Split to LHS of cupboard where boards have shrunk.
