An 18th century oak and mahogany banded longcase clock of eight day movement striking the hour on a bell, the square brass dial, 25cm, with Roman numerals, secondary calendar dial and signed John Jones, London to the matted centre, the hood with a swan neck pediment and turned pilasters, over a trunk with an oblong door, inset with a glass lenticle, on bracket feet, 203cms high.
A walnut eight-day longcase clock, the brass dial signed Christopher Gould, London, the silvered chapter ring with numbered minutes, subsidiary seconds, and date aperture, the hood flanked by twin pilasters, the trunk door with pendulum aperture, height 244cm (96in.).
