Kipling, London' with seconds and date dials and eight-day striking movement, 236cm high CONDITION REPORT: Hood has cracks to each side above and below 'windows'. Cracks to moulding joints and in moulding on arch. Some brass stringing missing. Door re-hung and lock bolt is exposed. Door doesn't fit properly. Base has splits. Missing piece of moulding to left hand side.

A mahogany longcase clock, late 18th century and later, the arched brass dial with moon phase and centre date hand, inscribed 'Edward Bertles, Liverpool' in arch, the case with fluted quarter columns and block work corners to base, later inlaid work, with two brass weights, brass bob pendulum and cranked winding key, 237cm high CONDITION REPORT: Main trunk door detached. Hood door detached. Lower hinge broken and and wood area around fixing split off. Has two brass cased weights. Has brass Bob pendulum. Hood appears to have been altered in centre. Door has later oval inlaid shell and two oval insets. One side split. Inside of hood door has metal brackets and has been restored.
