A circa 1955 Mercedes-Benz (W120) 180D Ponton four door saloon restoration project, unregistered, Old English white. This rare right hand drive Mercedes is in need of full restoration. The body has corrosion damage to the outer panels but the floors and general structure seem sound. The blue leather interior appears complete and should respond well to cleaning and feeding. The wood dashboard is intact with all gauges and switch gear present. The Mercedes is a non runner but the engine is not seized, it selects gears on the column change and it rolled freely when pushed into position for the catalogue photographs. A 2005 Renault Megane 225 Sport, registration number RY05 MXR, blue. This relatively rare four door version of Renault's hot hatch has been owned by the fastidious lady vendor for the last eight years. An Attractive George III Inlaid Oak Hanging Corner Cupboard of good colour and patination. The moulded cornice above a panel door inlaid with an ivory shield shaped escutcheon and a central rosette roundel. The interior fitted with serpentine fronted shelves, 35½ ins (90 cms) high, 27 ins (68 cms) wide.
An 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock with thirty hour movement by Richard Marshall. The 10¼ ins (26 cms) square brass dial with a single steel hand, engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals encircling a calendar aperture and round maker's plaque inscribed 'Rich Marshall 1752'. The case with flat hood surmounted by three turned ball finials, a break-arch topped trunk door and moulded base on bracket feet 83 ins (211 cms) high.
A Fine & Unusual Charles II Oak Wall Cupboard dated 1673. The panel door quartered by applied moulding within a moulded frame and enriched all over with decorative punchwork; The punchwork continued around the two panelled sides and incorporating initials IBEB and date 1673, 23½ ins (59 cms) high, 24½ ins (62 cms) wide, 12 ins (31 cms) deep.
A 17th Century Carved Oak Court Cupboard. The upper section having a moulded top with marquetried frieze raised on bulbous cup & cover posts enriched with carved acanthus & gadrooning, flanking a canted cupboard. The central cupboard door and arcaded side panels carved with foliate decoration and set in a framework of dogtooth inlay. The lower section housing a long frieze drawer adorned with a chain of strapwork and standing on bulbous supports echoing the upper posts, with an open shelf to the base. 47¼ ins (120 cms) high, 47½ ins (121 cms) wide, 18¾ ins (47.5 ms) deep.
A Good 18th Century Pierced Sheet Brass Lantern with repoussé decoration. The cylindrical body with leaded glass sides in a framework of punchwork decorated straps, incorporating a hinged door opening to access the three iron candles sockets on drip pans. The domed pediment surmounted by a hanging ring, pierced and embossed with emperors' head portrait medallions amongst garlands of fruit and foliage. The base with further decoration raised on three finialed ball feet 24 ins (61 cms) high.
A Gothic Style Oak Aumbry (A/F). The top having applied cavetto moulding to the edge above two central doors on iron butterfly hinges. Each door having a recessed upper panel richly carved with voluted linenfold above a pierced lower panel of Gothic tracery, flanked by further pierced tracery to the sides, 48 ins (122 cms) high, 49½ ins (126 cms) wide, 18 ins (46 cms) deep.
A Rare, Fabulous Quality 17th Century Ausberg Collector's Cabinet of miniature proportions, profusely inlaid with exotic animals amidst scrolling stems of green stain leaves, flowers and fruit edged in black painted moulding. The rectangular box with fall front enclosing various sized drawers edged in ripple moulding and surrounding a central door with gilt brass lock mechanism, 5 ins x 6 ins x 31/8 ins (13 cm x 15 cm x 9.3 cms).
