AN 18TH CENTURY OAK CASED EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK by Bonsell of Draycott, having a raised flat top, moulded cornice and slender frieze over the square glazed hood door and turned columns, the long trunk door with quadrant corners, on a plain base with short bracket feet, the brass dial with Roman hours, Arabic seconds and maker`s name to the chapter ring, enclosing two winding apertures and crescent form date aperture, all framed by applied ornate brass spandrels, sold with weights and pendulum. 192cm(h)Minor marks and scratches, top appears re-attached, generally ok but viewing recommended.
A GEORGE III OAK AND MAHOGANY THIRTY-HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK by George Porthouse of Penrith (probably George Porthouse II, 1743-1817), having a broken swan-neck pediment with brass finial, arched glazed hood door, turned columns, shaped trunk door and plain base with bracket feet, the arch of the dial painted with a floral bouquet over a chapter ring of Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing the maker`s name and crescent form date aperture, all framed by painted floral spandrels, sold with weight and pendulum. 226cm(h)Cracks and staining to dial with loses to lower right corner, re-glazed hood door, fading, marks and scratches, split to base panel and to right side.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ROSEWOOD BUREAU having a rectangular inverted break-front top with carved edge detail, the central fall-front door carved in relief with a chinoiserie scene of figures, boats, trees and blossoms and incorporating the integral handle, opens to reveal a central drawer and arrangement of pigeon holes, all flanked by cupboard doors with conforming carved decoration, raised on geometrically shaped trestle ends linked by a plain stretcher. 121cm(h) x 151cm(L) x 47cm(w)Minor marks and scratches, generally good condition.
A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUREAU BOOKCASE having a dentil moulded cornice, arcaded frieze and two astragal glazed doors enclosing the internal adjustable shelving, the lower stage having a broad crossbanded rectangular fall-front, baize skiver, central cupboard section and arrangement of drawers and open sections, all over two short and three long cockbeaded and graduating drawers with brass bale handles, all between fluted quarter columns, raised on bracket feet. 210cm(h) x 124cm(w) x 57cm(d)Moulding depletions to cornice, one arcaded section lacking but present, crack to one door central glass panel, warped fall-front, veneer splits, base drawer with one handle missing, splits to base moulding at right side.
