With an 8-day movement, the brass dial with Roman numerals, and a date aperture, decorated with dolphins and motifs, the oak case with columned hood, long door and a plinth base, H210cm Condition Report: New stringThe movement has been cleaned but a while ago, probably when the case was waxed. The edge of return to top of hood on left hand side ( as looked at) has gone but a very long time ago, corner of right hand side slightly blunted but a while ago.There are joint spaces in the lower cross banded section Basically the wood is in very good order, the suspension has broken so the pendulum has not been tested but I understand it was a working in the house.no further faults to report re case

This calligraphy is a sheet with, among others, the names of Allah, Muhammed sav., Khoulafaa Al-Rashidin and Ashaab- Al-Kahif. In the top frame it says Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim. In the center is a Hadith for prophet Mohammed learn your children the names of the people of the cave. When the names are written on the door to a house, this will never burn, if written on an object, this will never be stolen, or if the names are written on ship, this will never sink. Around this center the names of the people of the cave are written: Yemliha, Mekselina, Mislina, Mernus, Debernus, Shazenush and Kefeshtatayyush. It is signed Hafõz _brahim, see the last text line at the bottom. The calligraphy was embellished at a later date, with the decorations on the outside (around the gold center). This is signed Ferine 18, in de blue line at the bottom on the right. The calligraphy is 36 by 26 cm, and it is in good condition.
This is a truly unique piece from the 18-19th century. A set of very colorful, hand painted Indian window shutters. On both doors there is a depiction of an Indian princes holding a bird. She is surrounded by flowers.The back of the doors has a uniform color and are lacquered.The doors are 52 by 53 cm. the left door is 28 cm wide, and the right door is 26 cm wide.
