The painted dial has original ground, the numerlas have been touched up in places and the ground has light surface scratches.

The case has splits in the sides of the trunk, and a shrinkage crack on the base panel, the movement is complete and working but may need a service.

The arched case with hinged doors and carrying handle to the top.38cm high handle down.The Georgian mahogany case has a small patch to the bottom of the front door and a small piece of moulding missing from the arch of the back of the case. The movement is original to the dial but associated with the case. It is in working condition ticking and striking correctly, it has an unusual striking mechanism where it strikes the hours on a large bell and also strikes the hours at half past on a smaller bell.

There is a tiny chip to the top corner of the back door glass, no other damaged panels. No cracks, chips, or restoration to the dial. the movement is complete, the balance wheel isn't rotating but the staff isn't damaged. The strike and repeat mechanism is working but not striking the correct hours. Can't see any makers marks.

The dial has fine stress cracks and some discolouration to the silvering. The movement, which is original to case and dial, has been converted from verge to anchor escapment and is ticking but the strike isn't stopping sand will need attention.

The case has some detached mouldings above the door which are present. The movement is running and striking the correct hours, repeating the correct quarters. The back cock looks to have been replaced and the strike silent lever is missing. The verge escapement has probably been reconverted but if so has been done very well with no signs of plugged holes. The pull quarter repeat mechanism loos to be original to the clock and so do the brackets, they are made from the same coloured brass.

The 13" arched brass dial with gilt masked spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with signed silvered plaque above a rotating moon dial, tune selection lever for Psalm 95, Britons Strike Home, and Charles Dragoons fronting a substantial three train eight-day weight driven movement chiming on six bells and twelve hammers every three hours and striking the hours on a bell. - Provenance details are on the back of the door, an image has been attached.212.5cm highThe clock is in good unrestored condition, the case has a small piece of moulding missing above the hood door on the right side, and there is a shrinkage joint to the base. The movement is original to the case and is complete with the original seatboard. The movement is very dirty but is working and sounds nice when chiming. It will need cleaning and servicing. Comes with weights and pendulum. A very nice honest clock.

Fronting a finely made eight-day spring driven movement with balance wheel lever escapement, striking the hours and half hours on a gong, fitted enamal alarm dial and signed to the back plate. fitted in original numbered and signed leather case 99.5cm high handle down The silver case is in very good condition, with no dents or splits, the hinged handle is slightly lopsided and will need straightening. The movement is ticking but the striking mechanism will need attention as it doesn't stop striking. The carrying case is original to the clock and in good condition other than the carrying handle has snapped.

The bottom section has a loose mould tot the left corner and a small piece which is missing, the handles are 19th century replacements. The bracket feet are original, There are no splits to the sides. The polish is sun bleached on the lower section. See images uploaded. There are a few old worm holes to the front of the left door .

The twelve-inch arched brass dial with cast rococo spandrels, silvered name boss, Roman and Arabic chapter ring and matted centre dial with date aperture and recessed flower head engraved subsidiary seconds dial fronting a substantial five pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell.243cm highThe clock's movement is original to case. The lacquerwork is in good order and has been retouched in places. The movement is complete and functions correctly when pressure is applied to the wheels. The clock has weight and pendulum but we have not set the clock up and tested it. The movement is clean and has its original seatboard with no packing under the cheeks.

The 11" square brass dial with masked pierced spandrels and Roman chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre with calendar aperture fronting a weight driven movement with finned knopped pillars and outside countwheel striking the hours on a bell205.5cm high The case has an excellent colour and patina, there is a fine split to the panel below the door otherwise in good condition. The movement looks original to case and sits nicely on the original seatboard, in good working condition but may require a service. Comes with weight and pendulum. The clock does not appear to be cut down and is its original base and plinth.

There is also no holes in the cheeks either. In my opinion, the movement is not original to case. The top arch of the hood and the pillars look like they are later. The case looks to have been cleaned and repolished. The base is original. The movement is original to dial and is complete, it ticks and strikes corrrectly but may need a service.

The 12-inch square brass dial with engraved wheatear border, crowned double cherubs head spandrels and a signed silvered chapter ring with Roman hour markings and Arabic outer minutes; matted centre dial with cut engraved date aperture, ringed winding holes, subsidiary seconds and steel hands fronting an eight-day five pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside count wheel strike on a bell.260cm high,The case is in very good condition with no losses to the marquetry, the base of the case is original but approximately 8" of the backboard is missing from the base. The movement looks original to case and dial original to movement. The movement is complete and working but will probably need a service, hands have been replaced. Comes with brass cased weights and pendulum. The top caddy is detachable. The measurement to the top of the mould is 218cm. The height without the central finiel is 242cm.

The case has a good original colour and polish. There is a small piece of veneer missing from the side edge of the front door approximately 12mm long. The feet have been replaced and one is missing. There is a very small chip in the top right corner mould. One of the finials is missing. The sound frets to the side of the case have been replaced. The movement and dial are original to the case. The dial has its original gilding. Losses to the silvering on the chapter rings. The hour hand has been replaced. The movement has its original verge escapement and is ticking and striking the correct hours but is dirty and will require a service. Comes with its original winding key. No door key.

The movement sits on the cheeks well and fills the mask correctly, the movement is of very good quality and is complete. The clock has a period weight and pendulum. A RARE AND UNUSUAL FRENCH GOTHIC REVIVAL ‘ANGELUS’ REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK the silvered case modelled as a casket with finely cast handle modelled as entwined dragons above a dragon decorated a strapwork rosette within an octagonal border which is repeated to the dial, the case sides modelled with six figural relief medallions representing months of the year, the left January to June and the right July to December named in Latin to the margins, the rear with lower panel mirroring that of the front modelled with the Admonition beneath a hatch door incorporating decorative strap hinges and ornamental bolt clasp.
