A mid 18th Century oak 30 hour longcase clock, the 10" square dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and minute track, the centre with calendar aperture foliate engraved, signed Thomas Beale, Mayfield, striking posted frame four pillar movement with anchor escapement, the hood with projecting moulded cornice above a foliate fret blind cut frieze and glazed door above trunk with hinged door with hinged door with lenticle, on stepped box base, 188cm high.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded 8 day longcase clock, the 13" arched enamel dial painted with Roman numerals, minute track and subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, painted floral spray to arch, signed Haynes Stamford, 8 day four pillar striking movement with anchor escapement, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and central ball and spire finial above a glazed door flanked by a pair of column supports above the trunk with hinged door, raised on stepped box base, 207cm high, with key, pendulum and weights.
Interesting and unusual 19th century table timepiece, the fusee anchor movement with maintaining power and 8in brass dial, inscribed James Bell Edinburgh 1840, in brass case of balloon style, the drum upon a rectangular case with inverted tapering sides, incorporating a spirit level, upon brass ball feet with spikes, 39.5cm. Notes: This timepiece was purchased by the vendor's uncle from the Northern Lighthouse Board in the 1970's. It was apparently from the Engine Room at Covesea Skerries, Lossiemouth, (lighted 1846). Condition Report In good condition. Rear door hinged replaced and needs tidying.
Victorian serpentine walnut credenza with two arched panel doors flanked by open shelves, on plinth base, 92cm high and 175cm wide. Condition Report Faded edge to the front of the serpentine top. Top is very warped so the drawer doesn't fit. Loss of veneer to the base. Chip to the top of the plinth base, damage to the corner. Replacement arched door panels. One of the mouldings has been detached and re-glued. Has signs of wear and tear.

Chips around side door. Pendulum good. Movement good and clean. Dial appears all original, no overpainting, some minor discolouration. Glass good. Brass bezel unpolished. In summary, appears to be an original and untouched example.

Movement box with blisters to veneer. Dial and movement appear original. Door and pendulum present. Wire or gut to both fusee trains missing. Bell is replacement. In summary, requires complete overhaul and restoration.
