Rusland, fraaie houten kist bekleed met walvisbeen, vroeg 19e eeuw, voorzien van graveerwerk van bloemen, krullen en bladranken, opgehoogd met rode, groene en zwarte pigmenten, ajour gezaagde panelen waarachter een opschitterend folie. Getrapte deksel met twee scharnieren, interieur met rood fluweel bekleed en een spiegel. Dergelijke kisten werden door zeelieden gekocht en meegebracht uit de Russische havenstad Archangelsk.
