~ A Mahogany Striking Table Clock, 19th century, pagoda pediment with carrying handle, pierced side frets, 9-1/2-inch circular dial signed John Hamilton, Glasgow, date dial, twin fusee movement with an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, possibly later case, 54cm high 10.12.19 Case is faded in parts, case with small scuff marks, front door is not opening correctly due to the bottom base lip is catching, front door wooden moulding looks later, front of the base is cracked, wooden dial surround overlaps the front door, possible in a later case, later seatboard, dial is dirty, with pendulum.
