A Rare Miniature Ebony Table Clock, signed Desgranges, late Recordon, London, circa 1800, the ebony veneered case with an inverted bell top, gilt brass carrying handle, fish scale sound frets, acorn shaped feet, 3-1/4-inch silvered dial with Roman numerals and signed, arch with strike/silent selection, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, backplate with an engraved border, 24.5cm high over handle, with a later ebonised wall bracket, 17cm high 08.10.14, Case with cracks and minor chips to the veneers, front door with a small piece of veneer missing, small piece of moulding to the front has come loose, brass surfaces are discoloured, base with one piece of moulding replaced, feet possibly later, dial is slightly discoloured and needs re-silvering, movement needs cleaning, replaced escapement, possibly a later replaced back cock, later pendulum bob, movement is working and striking, later wall bracket with scratches and minor chips.

An Ebonised Striking Table Clock, signed John Flook, London, circa 1760, inverted bell top with carrying handle, acorn finials, glazed side panels, front door with sound frets, 7-inch arched brass dial with a silvered Arabic and Roman chapter ring, matted dial centre with date aperture and mock pendulum aperture and signed on a silvered plaque, arch with strike/silent selection, twin fusee movement with verge escapement and rack striking on a bell, backplate elaborately engraved with scroll and floral decoration, bob pendulum, movement secured by brackets, 51cm high over handle 09.10.14, Case has been re-ebonised, slight rubbed in parts to the ebonising, minor dents in parts, later acorn finials, dial and movement are clean, movement in going order, strike not working.

A Good Mahogany and Satinwood Inlaid Chiming Longcase Clock, signed Jas Carr, Malton, circa 1810, pagoda pediment, inlaid columns with Corinthian capitals, arched trunk flanked with canted corners, inlaid plinth raised upon bracket feet, 13-inch painted arched dial, seconds, corners with two dials for strike/silent and chime/silent, central painted hunting scene and figures with a horse in the arch, triple weight driven movement with anchor escapement, eight hammers chiming on a nest of eight bells and a further bell for the hours, 232cm high 07.10.14, Case has been polished, pediment has been restored, trunk door slightly bowed, plinth with a small crack to the side, later bracket feet, dial has been re-painted but to a high standard, movement is clean and complete.

A Mahogany Chiming Longcase Clock, retailed by Charles E.Rose, Halifax, circa 1890, arched pediment, pierced sound frets, glazed trunk door, recessed plinth with canted corners, 12-1/2-inch arched brass dial with a silvered Arabic numeral chapter ring, elaborately scroll pierced decoration, seconds, silvered plaque with retailers signature, arch with two dials for chime/silent and Westminster/Whittington/St Michael chime selections, triple weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement, quarter chiming on eight tubular bells and striking a further tubular bell for the hours, 211cm high 08.10.14, Case with minor dents and scratches in parts, right side with a crack, silvered dials are faded, movement needs cleaning.

A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Danl Douglas, Whitehaven, circa 1820, swan neck pediment with gilt painted glass panels, arched trunk flanked by fluted columns, 14-inch painted arched dial, seconds and date dials, arch with a seascape, four pillar movement with attached falseplate stamped Finnemore, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, case possibly later, 242cm high 07.10.14, Small chip to a glass panel, trunk door and plinth with small cracks, side skirting is loose, slightly faded in parts, wooden blocks have been added to both sides of the cheeks beneath seatboard, later seatboard, dial with brass collet missing around a winding hole, crazing marks, movement needs cleaning, case possibly later.

A Mahogany Longcase Regulator, signed W.Johnson, 50 Strand, London, circa 1830, the nicely coloured case with architectural pediment, glazed front door flanked by canted corners, plinth with moulded borders, upon rectangular base, 12-inch circular silvered dial signed, two large subsidiary dials for seconds and 24-hours, single minute hand, the substantial five pillar movement with deadbeat escapement, ``Harrisons``, maintaining power, mercury tube pendulum with steel rod and adjustable rating nut, brass cased weight, 193cm high 08.10.14, Case slightly faded in parts, the hood with small chips to the mouldings, side of the hood with small cracks and scratches, hood with scratches around the key hole, plinth side panel is slightly lifting away from the carcass, plinth with some mouldings missing, dial with small scratches and the silvering is faded, movement is complete.

A Walnut Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Joseph Williamson, London, circa 1695, caddied pediment, glazed side panels, moulded trunk door with glass lenticle, 11-inch square brass dial with a silvered Arabic and Roman chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with scroll and ringed engraved decoration, date aperture and seconds, ringed winding holes, five pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, 223cm high Joseph Williamson was an eminent watch and clock maker in the late 17th/early 18th century. Apprenticed in 1686 and became Master of the Clockmakers Company in 1724. He was the watchmaker to the King of Spain and claimed the invention of equation mechanism in a paper to the Royal Society. His watches and clocks are exhibited in several collections around the world today. 09.10.14, Case has been re-veneered in parts and the veneers are polished, mouldings are re-ebonised, hood door with a later side latch, small dents and scuff marks in places, some small chips to veneers, later skirting to plinth, trunk door slightly bowed, dial and movement are clean.
