A GEORGE III OAK AND MAHOGANY BANDED DRESSER, the upper section with moulded cornice and wavy frieze above two open and one enclosed shelves, three short drawers under with brass swan neck handles, flanked by long single door cupboards, the base fitted with three deep drawers below a triple plank top, brass escutcheons and brass swan neck handles, three cabriole legs to the front with distressed feet, two chamfered back legs, length 199cm x depth 51cm x height 198cminfo/condition: the dresser is George III period, the base tilts back slightly, the legs are strong enough to take the piece being dressed with china, two of the front feet are largely missing, it has replacement hinges to the cupboard doors and holes have been filled on the sides of the rack, handles throughout the piece are replacement, it has seen restoration which is serviceable but not top quality, overall it is a serviceable piece of furniture but has seen replacements and repairs throughout and is not in shop condition
